Kobe always needed a superstar big playing alongside him to win championships. Hibbert is a defensive monster but his offensive game is mediocre so I wouldn't fancy their chances to win anything with Kobe in place of PG tbh, unless they could convert Granger into an all-round superstar big like the prime MVPau or something similar.

The Lakers will always gravitate to forming a championship starting with this combo.
