They have the 20th highest salary in the league BUT all of those players are locked up next year except for Stuckey at 8.5 and :lmao Charlie Villenueva @ $8.6 mil. Given his weak ass is coming off the books, they were expected to be an up-and-coming contender on the rebound. Monroe, Jennings, Smith, Bynum, and Drummond are all guys who could start on a lot of teams, and they're young.

It sucks for the coach, his team hadn't really the time to gel, but there's no excuse for playing AS poorly as they have been.

On offense we just aren't getting into our sets and our movement on the pick-n-roll rolls leaves a lot to be desired. Save for a couple of points in the paint for Parker, guards are hesitant to go strong to the basket (having shot blockers and length waiting for you at the rim does that tbh). It says a lot when we have to settle for lobbing to a player who's being fronted. That shit isn't going to cut it against an athletic and long team like Detroit.
