Dont shoot the messenger ...

click here for story (http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/65914/james-harden-is-the-new-carmelo-anthony)

short version lot's of ball stopping, hero shots and iffy decision making. (Like Kobe without the 5)

I like Harden. SoCal kid, Artesia High.
but like I said not a max player in new CBA (neither is Melo)

Harden's problems could be less severe to his team that employed an actual offensive system, tbh..I'd love to see him as the lead guard without McHale..

This shit is so old and now BSPN finally has something to write about. Sad writers tbh.

Harden/ Melo comparison is completely stupid. Harden is fine with averaging 18 pts and 9 assists and has been looking to facilitate. Melo? Yea I don't think he could ever do that.

The rockets have been looking much better as of late. The problems start when the bench has to come in and Harden and some of our starters have to play with them. Our two shooting specialists (Casspi and Garcia) are pure shit. There was also no backup C for a while making it all very difficult. Now Dmo is getting time and Asik is back. Team playing very consistent and everybody knows their roles.

Harden didn't even play in the 4th with the rest of the starters yesterday. They were playing well so they just went with what worked. It seems ESPN always jumps on an existing story that has long passed which is no surprise.

Your nut sucker is crying himself to tears by the way. He started a thread all about you and is muzzling around about why he didn't get included on your dick sucking list.

Has Howard has been the best player for the Rockets lately, tbh?..I haven't been watching as many Rockets games lately, but based on the metrics, it seems like Dwight has been dominant and playing like the best player in Houston..

Yes. Dwight has been improving game by game, that comes from working with Carroll Dawson. His free throws are getting better too.

Yes he has. The reason is that he is the clear and cut first option now. A lot of the ball stopping took place earlier this season because we couldn't get Howard the ball all the time and our players weren't used to playing with a good center.

Harden's ball stopping has ceased as he has openly admitted that he wants to mainly be a facilitator and score when the team needs it. As stated earlier, the inability to get Howard the ball led to a lot of iso plays that weren't within the flow of the offense.

This. Harden needs a coach who can run a system, but also reel him in when he gets erratic. Harden is at his best in clutch situations though.

Exactly. Harden is a willing passer.

I think Melo is a great player, but he has always had the "My shot quota " mentality. The only way he is ever going to win is as a 2nd fiddle and he refuses to believe it.

Asik being back is good and I hope they don't trade him, at least now. If Asik can accept his role for now, that would make the team that much better and so much harder to score on. Cassipi really shouldn't be on an NBA roster, Garcia is barely getting healthy. The team needs a defensive wing who can score off the bench, like an Aaron Afflalo.

Casspi and Garcia are terrible. 90% of the time they don't do anything on the floor. They need to be upgraded asap.

Yeah. Though I'm happy with D-Mo's development. But he might be trade bait.

The primary similarity between Harden and Melo is that they both play air-transparent defense

I must say honestly Dwight looks good lately. I still say fuck him but the guy is playing well and as sdtaed his Ft work has improved plus he is working harder for post position.
