Rose Shocker "Not Planning on Returning This Season"

CHICAGO -- Derrick Rose (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3456/derrick-rose) says he isn't thinking about a possible return this season and is just focusing on his rehab as he makes his way back from a torn medial meniscus in his right knee suffered on Nov. 22.
Speaking to reporters for the first time in about two months at a Bulls' charity event, Rose acknowledged that he hasn't started running yet, but is staying in good spirits.

I think anyone here would be in "good spirits" if we just spent the last 3 years or so getting paid millions to watch basketball and party.

If not for injury, he would have been exposed by now. He's the PG equivalent of Kevin "empty stats" Love but with a superior cast.

I've always been a fan of Rose, it'll be interesting to see how he plays after two seasons of barely any basketball. Hopefully he develops a jump shot because mentally, I don't see him trusting his knees anymore.
