What a waste of talent, nonetheless, her bow-legs would be so damn fit circling around a man's thighs :depressed

Yeah, there was a big ruckus about that. Page and Quantic Dream got pissed at Naughty Dog because the character looked so much like her and The Last of Us was released so closely to Beyond: Two Souls.

Maybe Ellen Page is just too tiny to allow any meat stick in her body (at only 1.55m) imho. She would've been almost the same height as Goddess if she could replace her bowlegs with a pair of straight ones... oh no, wait, she herself isn't even straight so how the hell could she expect a straight pair of legs?

Still, props to Ellen Page for her bravery. Bitch's always been one of the very few women in the world whom I can hardly hate, even though she's Canadian. Bitch definitely has some nuts behind her vulva, and it's well justified for her to fuck females rather than males tbh.

Sometimes I even wish our Goddess was also gay so she wouldn't be plowed by those sorry assholes like Reynolds and Dauriac, and wouldn't ever get pregnant so we'd see more movies of hers without no intervention

Is it really bravery on Page's part or just a sad attempt at attention? She's been in a slump for the last 2 or 3 years. Would the gay community be upset if the reason why she admitted she liked to munch on carpet was just a sad attempt at getting attention?

Safe to assume members of the gay community know how difficult it is to come out, and therefore tend not to question someone's reasons for doing so or the honesty of such a declaration. Especially on such a large/public scale.

Coming out is hard to do. And it's an unending process (just because your family knows doesn't mean that everyone you meet will know automatically or will accept it when told, meaning that living openly is a decision to open yourself up to constant and repeated rejection), and one that never gets easier. The only people who question the motives behind coming out are those who will never have to do it themselves.

Last night during her coming out speech at an LGBTQ youth conference in Las Vegas (http://gawker.com/ellen-page-comes-out-as-gay-im-tired-of-hiding-1523339577/+caity), Ellen Page talked about the crushing weight of Hollywood beauty standards. She mentioned specifically an article about her on E!'s web site, which was "mysteriously" pulled offline afterward.
"I try not to read gossip as a rule," Page said. "But the other day a web site ran a picture of me wearing sweatpants on the way to the gym. And the writer asked 'why does this petite beauty insist on dressing like a massive man?'" As Kia Makarechi of the Huffington Post pointed out on Twitter today, (https://twitter.com/Kia_Mak/status/434727600624525312) that line comes verbatim from a January 8 article on Eonline.com in which the writer says he's "starting to wonder if the former Juno star is actually homeless." He also noticed that the article is no longer online.
Further, per Makarechi, E!'s article on her speech mentions those remarks in vague terms, saying that Page "shared that she faced an inner struggle because she was in the Hollywood spotlight." Unlike various pieces — like ones in The Hollywood Reporter (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ellen-page-comes-as-gay-680563), The Los Angeles Times (http://www.latimes.com/local/abcarian/la-me-ra-an-emotional-ellen-page-juno-star-comes-out-at-hrc-conference-20140214,0,5964490.story), and The Guardian (http://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/feb/15/ellen-page-comes-out-speech-human-rights-campaign)— E!'s article did not quote Page directly on the matter, nor did E! mention its culpability at all.

Her career is not in a slump. it has followed a pretty regular pattern. Arthouse success and some indie-type stuff no one sees bookended by supporting roles in blockbusters. The new X-Men movie is coming out Memorial day and in October she signed up for the lead in another comic book movie for Fox.

Bitch's career is indeed in a slump if you know how highly she was rated when she first hit the main silver screen in the mid-late 2000s. Bitch was cute as hell back then imho, getting nominated for Oscar when she was in teens. I think her career could've easily gone along a similar track as Pigface Lawrence's but apparently her bowlegs and those gay rumors counted against her odd of success. So now, instead of continuing to pretend as a straight, bitch comes out and the heavy burden is instantly lifted off her shoulders. I think this will turn out to be either a blessing or a curse to her career. Conservatives will excoriate her ruthlessly, while on the contrary liberals will adore her bravery and begin to love her even more. California is a liberal state so the chance of it turning out a blessing will outweigh the opposite, imho

It's not a step up from leading feature films and network sitcoms, not to mention the years of doing practically nothing for a couple of years.

Again, all's well that ends well but Ellen D.'s coming out can hardly be cited as a surefire blueprint for success someone like Page could blithely follow.

i'd say she has done better than 99.9% of people who have tried to get into show business on a comedy platform, and she didn't reach her zenith until she came out. i was merely pointing that out, and she is not deterred by using her personal life as joke fodder.

maybe to you, but from a timeline and source material perspective it looks to be justified. whatever, i'm done with it. people don't pay me on here to give my opinion, so i don't care either way.

it worked for Jason Collins (otherwise no one would've remembered that guy, that gay as of now), so Ellen may hope for the best
