And it's an unending process (just because your family knows doesn't mean that everyone you meet will know automatically or will accept it when told, meaning that living openly is a decision to open yourself up to constant and repeated rejection), and one that never gets easier. The only people who question the motives behind coming out are those who will never have to do it themselves.
