View Full Version : Trade Parker, Patty is the truth

Brazil

Patty is dominating fools left and right lately...

He is as good as Parker offensively with a better defense and a three point weapon. That's championship material right there... We made the mistake already once with George Hill, two if you consider RMJ that would be dumb to repeat the same mistake while expecting different outcome.

Parker with Kawi is our only valuable asset tbh and Kawi is going nowhere.

Mills could be a game changer in the playoffs in certain games / matchups.

He seems to have that grit to not shy away from moments, or others teams trying to rough him up (ie he pestered the hell outta Fisher).

Hey, other little quick pgs light us up, why cant we have one of our own.

But we ain't going nowhere without a healthy Parker, which would make Mills change of pace that much more effective.

I do think we need to deal Parker before he leaves on his own when Duncan and Pop call it. Especially while he has some value left unlike Manu.

As much as it would seem a good idea, Parker does provide the goods on occasion. We may need both guys in order to compete but Pop has to know when to sit Parker and keep Mills in the game. This "foreseeable future" business may be the perfect remedy to get Parker back on track since the ol' sport is pretty dinged up

I'm just trying to compromise for all parties. Parker acts like he wants to play for a big market, plus he already blew his load in the summer giving Spurs sloppy seconds. LA worships heroballers, here not as much. Win/win imho.

And then playoffs... a playoff loss causes mass wrist slitting.

-Third best player during the Spurs championship runs in '05, '07. Not nearly as important as Duncan or Ginobili.
-Fucks a team mates wife and ruins locker room morale.
-Gave up on the team in 2011 and says Spurs aren't good enough to compete for a championship anymore.
-Shoots 6-23 in the most important game of his career.
-Drowns his sorrows in FIBA ball because he can't handle the fact that he choked hard in the Finals. As a result of this stupid decision, he came back playing some of his worst basketball in years and complains about the lack of rest(when he should have rested during the summer)
-Healthy enough to play in a meaningless all-star game but chooses to rest during official matches.

I was just talking with Rob about Manu's long range in the game thread. His form was fucked before the last injury, but it isn't bad now. He's missing though, so that doesn't help. He's been driving more though, which is good.

Spurs were almost undone by tunnel vision.

Tunnel vision is the kind phrasing: the to the point phrasing, is that the Spurs almost lost, because of TP's stupid hero ball, which is USELESS unless TP's hitting everything in sight (rare).

When Parker plays like this, which he does most of the time, Patty Mills is head and shoulders better than Parker.

If Parker would just spread the ball around more, instead of chasing empty numbers, Spurs would be DOMINATE.
