and of all the guys that have lead their teams Kobe is:

1.) 2nd in global fame (only surpassed by MJ)
2.) 2nd greatest player of all time (behind MJ)
3.) 3rd in rings behind Kareem, MJ, and Russell....(Horry never led doesn't count)
4.) 3rd in scoring (might as well acknowledge he'll pass MJ next season as he's only 1000k points away

of 3,071 players Kobe sits atop mount Rushmore :toast not bad for a beta :hat

The 00-02 team ain't led by Kobe despite that he is god, tbh. And you forgot that Kobe is the all-time leader of shots missed, he's the true King of bricks imho
