So Miami it is
It'd be funny to see him sign with Miami. It'd be like a 'fuck you for trading me Indy'. But idk.. Granger still is a good player and I don't think he would be content with getting 5-10 minutes of playing time behind LeBron (unless he plays the 2 again with Wade missing b2b's) when two years ago he was an above average (great) player.

With Beasley out of the rotation and Battier and Ray struggling, he'd get some burn. At least in the short-run.

Why is Beasley out? He was having a solid year I thought.

He has a fork in his back. I don't blame him for being pissed though.
OTOH, Evan Turner will help Indy. :tu

This guy is a fag if he signs with the Great Satan.
So Miami it is
Which is why they freed up a roster spot by dumping RMJ. It was all done behind the scenes.

They're not happy with his D or conditioning lately I think. But yeah earlier he was playing well.

Pacers still don't have a dependable go-to-scorer in the halfcourt.

Turner is overrated and shouldn't be a starter on a contender, but he'll be a solid player against opposing benches, which will be his role in Indiana, tbh..
Granger has looked horrendous this season, tbh..

True but Pop could work wonders and he can hit an occasional corner 3.

How many more players can Miami afford to add to their roster? Save some for the rest of us, for fuck's sake.

Granger wouldn't help the Spurs much other than insurance. We have too many SF/SG types as it is and GRANGER hasn't been impressive since injured.

Beasley is a much better player than Granger, it would be disappointing if Miami signs Granger, tbh..
They already have Battier's useless ass, and they already need to cover for Ray Allen's non-existent defense, they don't need another broken down perimeter player..

nigga was a fan favorite in Inddy imho and I bet the fans were just as upset with his departure, but he doesn't need to be pissed imho. The pacers traded him because they needed his salary to get the trade done rather than that they wanted to get rid of him or anything. If nigga is waived by Philly he can wait a month something then re-sign with the pacers for the playoffs (just like Kurt Thomas did with them Spurs a few years ago)

We have a BIG hole in our backup SF position. We got plenty of guards, but we still need a backup sf. Granger will do, he won't carry the team or anything but might as well patch up that position instead of leaving it open.

So many SF/SG types that Matt Bonner was playing spot minutes at SF at one point :lol
Granger is a legitimate SF. Before Daye there weren't 2 on the team. Can't have too many insurance policies when you've got scrubs at the end of the bench.

Lineup right now with Baynes, Ayres, Bonner as the frontcourt.

seriously what was shown in last seasons finals and playoffs, spurs were to dependent on guys like kawhi, diaw and green to be guarding the perimeter players, we needed another big wing player which was let go for no apparent reason, jax wouldve been useful in those finals imo...
granger would give the spurs another wing player who they can throw on the court where the spurs will always have 2-3 big wing players on the court that can play some sort of respectful defense.....
spurs need a wing or big if someone is bought out....

SF who run him down are self insulating in case he signs elsewhere. It's self preservation/chickenshit stance and so SF.

Should Granger receive a buyout, sources tell RealGM that he will likely decide between the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls and Dallas Mavericks.

Malarkey, CN. You've not the gumption to live and die with the Spurs so you insulate with the Clippers. I'm ashamed of you to be perfectly frank. Have some decency, pride and self respect. Don't run yourself down like this.
Just to clear the shit stained air here.... no one who's ever been considered a "franchise player" like Granger was once will sign with San Antonio before the age of 36. They would take a minimum on a team like Miami before taking 4x that on a team like SA. Why? Because no American born faux star wants to play in San Antonio. There's no room for improvisational "see what I can do" play. Until Pop exits and the system changes, that will be the case. Even then who the fuck wants to live in SA? I like the city, but if I was a rich athlete with options, that wouldn't be on the table.
