I remember when we tried to sign him in 03 to replace Robinson. Would've been a nasty frontcourt if he would've stayed healthy. Would've meant no Horry though.

JO to the spurs made too much sense. the fucker canceled meetings he had lined up with the Spurs and Mavs and decided to rot in Indiana

JO ain't too old in fact, he's only 35 imho. If TOSB Duncan can still play at such a high level at age 37 there's no reason to doubt JO's ability to do the same (especially when he's 2yrs Duncan's junior). Auburn Hills really impaired dude's career which had been going downhill since then. Ben Wallace was the culprit of the brawl imho.

If I remember correctly, he stayed with the Pacers with the intention of playing Thomas but when he got fired and replaced with Carlisle I think he was buttmad so he would've ended up coming to SA had he known that beforehand. A prime JO and Timmy frontcourt would've been nasty for 4-5 years until O'Neal started breaking down.
