I'm sure it will be a very good phone, but I'm glad I didn't wait for it over my Nexus 5. I think HTC has a real shot at taking the unanimous best smartphone crown this time around. They better bring more than a 4 ump shooter to compete with that beast of a camera on the S5, though.

You mean camera-wise? Because a 16mp camera is over 4k resolution. As for the S5, there aren't two models, there is only one, and it's display is 1920x1080p, the same as the last.

I thought that Samsung would've adapted what they did with the Note III by raising the lower limit to 32GB. There is an option to move apps to the SD card but they're still asking the consumer to spend more for SD cards. Why not just raise the lower limit to 64GB. In this day and age it's a whole lot of bullshit that they're not doing this.

I called about the mobile share plans last month b/c my mom got close to her data limit in her first month (was curious about sharing 10GB/4 lines, i am the only one w/unlimited), had them run comparison pricing, and they didn't pressure me once. Even when i got my 5s and Best Buy had to open a case w/att to restore my unlimited they didn't say anything. I think their new angle is you can't get on their new programs like Next, Mobile share and keep it. If my family keeps butting up against or going over their data limits I may have to give mine up.

Build quality is definitely lacking, but I guess I am talking about the value proposition. There is no doubt that the s4 is better than the n4, but it's superiority is minor and this I can't justify the more than double the cost of the n4. I tried using some of the gee whiz features of TouchWiz (where the Samsung should really shine) and some of them were neat but not entirely useful. I put cyanogenmod on it as soon as I detected lag and didn't look back.

I'm sure that there will be a similar difference between the n5 and the s5
