Someone kept trying to tell me that MWP is a top defender....why would he say that? Is there some stat that proves it?

I'd take World Peace. Proven champ, better defensive player and most importantly a better attitude and willingness to play a role. Granger is better injury insurance in that the window wouldn't completely shut if one of the other wings went down. But MWP would be a better supplement to the healthy rotation. I hope the Spurs sign him instead of catering to broken-down Granger.

They are both finished as rotation players and both smallball-4s at this point, tbh..

Granger has more in the tank, but MWP seems content with reality and his current status, while reports are implying that Granger is delusional and still believes he's a key player:lol..

Spurs acquiring Granger would imply that he's going to receive at least 20 MPG, which would hurt the Spurs, tbh..the acquisition of MWP wouldn't include a guarantee of substantial playing time..

One bad year doesn't merit saying someone is done. Is Ginobili or Duncan done? Because they both had "off" years and rebounded.

I understand you don't like Granger, or anyone on the Pacers due to your Heat stick, but you are taking it too far.

I'm on the fence. I would actually tend to agree with you about Granger having fallen off hard, from what I can dig up and see of his play the last couple years. That said, I think your taking a calculated risk with your Granger hating, tbh. I think there's still potential for a rotation player, without a doubt.

:lol he's 30-31 years old and coming off a major knee injury..he has shown no flashes of greatness at any point this season..I've already posted all his offensive metrics, they're all mediocre or terrible, including his spot-up shooting..

Comparing him to future HOFers like Duncan and Ginobili is ridiculous:lol..

But did Duncan or Manu get a 2000 on their SAT?

Exactly. Obviously his fringe All-Star days are over, but to say he's no longer a rotation player is premature. The guy missed basically a year and a half and was never an above average athlete to begin with. To think he was going to look even half decent within' a couple of months was not realistic. Whatever he has left won't truly be known until next season.

If you take aside Artest character issues, it's quite close. I would pick Granger because he is a better shooter.

If Pop is confident that he can handle Artest, he wouldn't be a bad plan B if Granger doesn't pick Spurs.

Metta tbqh. If a dude was gonna shoot sub-40% I'd at least like him to be a physically imposing defender. The fact that he's batshit crazy is just a bonus.

Pretty sure that was a shill from E-N propagating whatever RG Popford toss his way.

They're both shit. They both can't shoot and they're too slow to guard 3s. Artest and Granger are basically 2013 Stephen Jackson. I'd probably lean towards Granger if I had a gun to my head. Just cause he's got a little bit of more speed than Artest. Although I will say Artest's attitude>Granger's, tbh...

Granger. Artest is a scrub.
