Amongst all the KD slurping the man has put on his big boy pants and answered the call. 61 points.

The GOAT will have 3 rings, 3 FMVPs and 5 MVPs before he even turns 30.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

If you thought I was serious...

I've read crap like that on twitter since last night.

Also saw some tweets comparing his masked numbers to non-masked arguing he should pull a Rip Hamilton and always wear the mask.

Against the Bobcats. :lol

Was it impressive? Sure, but you sure as hell don't want one member of your team to take that many shots. Bron chucked up a bunch of threes that game to end up with that. You don't want to rely on that.

Normally you have good posts, so I was thinking it was sarcasm from you.

It's hilarious how some people make such large stretches to try to hate on any elite wing player that has been in the league since MJ.

If he ends up with the MVP, ring, and FMVP for the third year in a row he's undoubtedly top 3 all time

Yeah. I'm not ready to say he's the GOAT, but when I read the decade argument or "size/dominance" argument, it made me laugh.

I'd have added an emoticon to denote sarcasm, but my phone doesn't like the emoticon menu.

He's not wrong in saying he'll be this generations rep on Mt. Rushmore.

Honestly I don't really understand the argument Larry has vs. Lebron in the rushmore conversation if Lebron continues at this point. I'd even argue that Lebron's frame of work is already as impressive and just needs the 3rd ring to cement it because it would tie them. I think Larry is the guy Lebron knocks off of Mt. Rushmore, with it looking like MJ Bron Magic and Kareem (can understand arguments for russell or even wilt here)

Maybe I just never got it with Larry, I didn't grow up during that era and have only seen limited tape of his play. But just looking at the numbers, Lebron looks like the better player. He also steps it up in the playoffs while Larry's production stays about the same, despite more minutes (obviously this isn't enough to determine anything, just making an observation looking at their stats)

Lebron is the biggest freak of nature to ever play basketball which is how he's done what he's done so far.

I think his basketball IQ is still relatively low though. Give him a few more years to understand how to dominate the 4th quarter and he'll be the goat without debate.

Larry is right up there with Magic as the two smartest players I've ever seen. Larry was a deadly shooter and an incredibly underrated defender. It does Larry a disservice whenever they show the clips of Michael monkeyballing or Nique dunking over him.

the Great Satan has been following that nigga Durant's ass, he even got Durant's stats sent to him on a daily basis, which's downright pathetic. Durant scored 60+ points a bit earlier so Satan decided he had to stat-pad his own 60pt game and he did it.

This is what I witnessed tonight:

James had a chance to tie the game with a desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer, but it was off—just like most of his second-half shots.

The four-time MVP finished with 22 points, one night after setting a club record with a career-high 61 against Charlotte. He acknowledged before Tuesday’s game that he was “extremely tired” and that he spent most of the day sleeping.

James had 19 points by halftime, but appeared to drag at times in the second half and spent the first half of the fourth quarter on the bench. He was 1 for 7 after the break.

http://in.sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2014030410

Basketball IQ also comes in the form of knowing when to blow your 61 point load and when to save some juice for the next night's 4th quarter. Spoelstra should shoulder some of that to be sure though.

Of course, Lebron is so freakishly gifted that he can win an MVP and a title again in spite of his mental deficiencies.

Even with all that Lebron has already accomplished, it still irritates me to see potential for an extra level of greatness left on the table.

He hasn't got it, Blake. He's fortunate to have 2. He still looks uncomfortable. There is no considerable length of calm and security to his game and leadership. It's in fits & jerks with moments of calm. There is no formula, no James Formula. It's like he's searching for something that's missing. And it is missing.

Last June was not dominating the league. Just because it's not mentioned in polite company (everybody but us) doesn't mean it didn't occur. I don't understand why Media can't tell the entire story instead of packaging a pile of shit to look beautiful.

it's sickening when you realize what the Hell happened and what got reported and put down on the historical rolls.

Ugh. I'm goin' to couch. I'm not fit company when I'm tired. Night, fellows.
