View Full Version : Should Pop sit Splitter tomorrow against his worst nightmare?

I don't want to see another moment of Mario Chalmers dunking on him and blocking his shots. Or the rest of the team taking turns fucking him in the ass. Seriously, though, Pop will surely start Splitter but do you think he'll give him a quick hook if that shit starts happening again or will he try to see if he can play through it to build him confidence? You'd think starting Diaw would be the better move but maybe Pop wants to play CIA Pop and save that for later down the road, if we're lucky enough to get there?

Pop has been quick to pull Splitter when he is over matched and they use him sparingly in those situations.. My biggest problem is that Ayres will be out there to get reamed in the ass 100 times.

Ayres has some bad blood with them, too. He was involved in a couple fights with them while with the Pacers. I wonder if he's even good at that? Maybe Baynes can be more useful in this matchup, especially if they play that front-running bitch Oden.

Ayres is a fake tough guy, has it written all over his face but Pop will play him because Miami will go small and Pop doesn't dictate matchups he will bend to the will of Miami.. Expect about a 10 point run during that time.

In theory, Splitter could be a good matchup vs. Oden but they don't play him significant minutes.

In theory but Miami will probably roll with a 3 guard lineup, Chalmers, Wade, Battier, LeBron and Bosh so Tiago might not start, might be Diaw but as soon as Birdman comes in we'll see Tiago.

From what I've seen, Birdfucker has dropped down in terms of activity down low. Maybe he's saving it for the postseason but he's also 35 now. Maybe them squeezing in Oden has hurt his value, though.

Hell no. Bring him off the bench.
Parker/ Green/ Leonard/ Diaw/ Duncan
Mills/Belinelli/Ginobili/ Splitter
have Diaw play a some on Lebron with Green/Leonard switching off on Wade.

As long as Ayres doesn't play!

Just another regular season game, tbh... True and Pop is not going to treat it like some big statement game. The fans will.

Yeah but we're still a game and a half out if the 1 seed and we need that HCA against any elite team we'd face in the playoffs so we can't mess around from here on out. We also still need to beef up our record against the elites to prep for the playoffs.

it would be nice to win, but we certainly don't NEED to win this game to "prepare" for the playoffs. Just look at how we played last year around this time.

I think the Spurs should just roll over for now. Save it for the playoffs.. If the Spurs can get that lucky again :lol

Start Tiago or Diaw 1st half. Start Diaw 2nd half.

Spurs don't show their hand until the real season starts. Expect much of the same we've seen over the last few weeks.

If I was Splitter, I'd ever do my best against any team Le Bron plays. I'd get my revenge at any cost.

Splitter had a double double vs Miami last time they met in the reg season and a near 20/10 game in the Restgame
its usually the backcourt who shits the bed vs Miami since they have no dribbling skills and cant handle a trap and make predictable passes out of it
