Timmy didn't make the All-Star team, and the coaches that didn't vote for him should be ashamed of themselves. George Karl said that Timmy would retire after this year. Maybe Tim will decide to hang 'em up, but it won't be because he can't play at an elite level -- Tim is still the best two-way big man in the world.

To be fair to the coaches, the rumor was that Tim passed the word that he really wanted the weekend off.

It's sickening the amount of people who don't appreciate or underestimate Timmy. The guy is a throw back to the old school of basketball which is why he is called The Big Fundamental. He is and always will be my favorite player and I've seem quite a few of them. He's humble, hardworking, and a team first Super Star. The only guy close to him right now in the league that can cover all 3 of those bases is Durant.

Wait which retired wing should get some if you can only pick one: Bruce or Sean?

For today's team? Probably Sean. We could use some athletes

Bowen all the way. In 2003-2005 his defense was the best and his 3pt % was 40%+. You could give him Green's minutes.

Although Elliott in his prime was a great all around player and could drive to the basket. But he always seemed to under perform under pressure, whereas Bowen came through.

Might as well just give Bowen some of that miracle juice and pre knee injury sean... damn.. we'd be staaaacked

Kareem played very well in his late 30's. Traditionally it 's always been thought that big men age well and can remain effective longer. Duncan never relied on athleticism. I think a lot of athletes are on supplements/PED's but Duncan has a pretty natural physique.

Duncan's drive to win a 5th ring this late in his career has been a joy and thrill for me and any Spurs fan. One day a documentary will likely highlight this part of his career and you will hear his team-mates and others in the organization speak of how inspirational this drive was too all of them. People keep waiting for Duncan to start playing his age and look old on the court. He's not having it folks..

good question; I'd go with Bruce. Defense wins championships.

I'd love to see an Aaron Sorkin (Moneyball) film on the Spurs.

Bill Russell said that he would try to block shots while the ball was still on the opponents hands and never try to swat them out of bounds, in that video that's all Timmy does and if he goes two feet off the ground I must have missed it. My first basketball idol was Wilt Chamberlain, I rooted for him in High School and through the years I've followed pro ball fervently what Timmy has done and is doing is nothing short of amazing and historical and he is ours, a Spur from day 1.
