Oden is complete dogshit against Hibbert its pretty laughable. Oden actually makes the Heat easier to defend because he makes them a lot slower on offense.

This is my first Heat/Pacers game I've watched since last year East finals... One year later and Hibbert is still destroying Miami. 6/7 and has hit everything from layups, to dream shakes, to pull overs and even a long mid range jumper.
I want to face Miami in the finals, but Indiana may just have their number.

truthbomb. Oden is an offensive liability just like Marion for us, they're solid defenders but they hamper their own teams' offense just as much as they do the opponents'. Imagine we had a clutch shooter starting at SF (like Korver) our offense would be so deadly with 3 elite shooters outside and a badass slasher (monta) feeding them ball, but the sad news is we need Marion's D and rebounding because our C is such a scrub (no matter it is Blair or Dalembert) who has little to provide on either end of the floor. Getting TC back in Dallas would liberate our wing players and upgrade our team on both ends, even though TC himself isn't that competent offensively as an individual.

Can't called them mental midgets when you have a team filled with bitches who whine and cry 24-7. For a bunch of mental midgets they still prevailed despite The Great Satan and company getting a bunch of bail outs. You should be worried the Heat couldn't take control of this game despite all the bs favors they got from the refs.

I've been saying it all along. It's not that Indy has talent on par with Miami but it's just a matchup issue. Id still pick Miami in a series, but the pacers will clearly give them fits... People predicting Miami to steamroll them will be wrong like the last 2 years. Hibbert is an average center who just bullies Miami every time. He gets away wit shit on defense, truth be told, but he seems to always go off on the other end even though he's not a talented offensive player

I think a lot of people figure it will be a helluva series. I think it could go either way. You have to remember this forum has some hardcore Lebron slurpers who were probably banned elsewhere for their slobbering, so their opinions will be biased.

In all fairness, it seems like Miami still has the upper hand if a series between these two ever goes down again. We give Indiana tons of credit for their resiliency but the Heat are excising this trait far better than the Pacers. The game is poorly officiated, yet Miami was still a shot away from winning the game.
It's too bad Wade is nowhere near 100%, I know Lebron stans likes to believe he's a non factor but a healthy Wade would still make them favorites even without HCA.
I just hope the Heat doesn't implode and flame out in the second round, vice versa the Pacers, these two teams need to battle it out in the ECF again. We need this kind of entertainment for having to go through an overall boring season.

I have no dog in the fight since the Lakers are done this year with God being injured but one thing I must say is Spur fans and most fans in this forum give The Great Satan too much respect. The guy has had a lot of flukey shit go his way last year I just don't see it happening again. Winning against the the Pacers and Spurs were flukes I just don't see it happening again. They needed miracles in both series just to prevail. They are not a dominant team like God's lakers, MJ's bulls, Magic's Lakers. They remind me a lot like Hakeem's rockets a team that won 2 titles barely by the skin of their teeth. Miami has their act together right now just that they are finally breaking down from playing 3 straight years in the finals no way they are going to overcome all the rust.

In a way this loss may benefit the Heat. If they'd won they'd be obliged to try for the first seed in the East and extend a lot of energy doing so. Now they can relax, accept the 2 seed (since no way Toronto or Chicago catches them) and rest up for the playoffs. To a large degree the regular season is now over for Miami. The rest of the games are just practice.

PG is a good player...I was one of the few that had him as underrated last year but its turned into a fucking joke now. Watching the ESPN pregame show the way they were jizzing over him was nauseating. You're talking about a guy that played a month or two of good basketball and hasn't had a month where he shot over 41% since...
Its the same reason why I hate the term "Linsanity"...a guy had a good 2 weeks and they are ready to crown him like fucking Jordan. Guys like Lebron, Kobe, Wade, etc have sustained their play for 10342348x longer than PG yet this dude is immune from criticism and "Just had a bad game" when he played good for 20% of the season and has played like crap for 80% of it :lmao. I get that this is a star driven league and thats what sells, but let the damn players push the message through their play. I have nothing against PG in particular, he seems like a really humble guy tbh..

tru that ..you can take the big three heats & put them in the western conference in the early 2000s & they would be battling for dominance along with the spurs, mavs, kings, lakers & phx. cant really say the same for any other team in the league this day & age.

You're right, it took a Bosh offensive rebound and Allen clutch 3 to save him last year...otherwise, we would all be talking about how he bricked two shots at the end of game 6. He was very fortunate. But still, he is a 4-time MVP and best player in the league currently, so he does deserve some respect...
Watching the fourth quarter of this game and holy shit was Miami shafted on some calls. Earlier I said Lebron's elbow to Hibbert was a flagrant but fuck that. If Hibbert is allowed to do his verticality bullshit (which he gets away with 95% of the time), Lebron or any offensive player attacking the rim for that matter, should be allowed to go to the basket however they want. The elbow wasn't on purpose tbh.
tbh I don't see Indiana beating Miami in the playoffs even with HC. Indiana is too emotionally immature and relies on an over abundance of physicality. Miami will bring it when it really counts imo. A scary thought.......

Your right the Great Satan is a 4 time MVP but I put him up there with Peyton Manning when it comes to showing up in pressure situations. Just like Peyton he chokes the majority of times. He will probably have the same legacy as Manning which is a multiple MVP winner but doesn't have many rings.

Ki
Its the same reason why I hate the term "Linsanity"...a guy had a good 2 weeks and they are ready to crown him like fucking Jordan. Guys like Lebron, Kobe, Wade, etc have sustained their play for 10342348x longer than PG yet this dude is immune from criticism and "Just had a bad game" when he played good for 20% of the season and has played like crap for 80% of it :lmao. I get that this is a star driven league and thats what sells, but let the damn players push the message through their play. I have nothing against PG in particular, he seems like a really humble guy tbh..
Coming from a rockets fan I wouldnt expect you to have the slightest clue about defense, not when harden just stands around. Theres There's alot more to the game of basketball than scoring, ask harden, he would know first hand the amount of times pg has butt fucked him

In those four previous matchups, Harden averaged just over 15 points per game while shooting a combined 15-62 (24%) from the field. And that wasn't just one bad shooting night. the four games break out like this, 3-14 (12pts), 6-24 (22pts), 5-19 (17pts) and 1-5 (10 pts). Harden also has 18 turnovers in the four games (5,3,5,5).
No big time scorer in the league has been ravaged by "PG Disease" more than Harden. The Rockets lethal weapon on the wing remains due to have his way with PG and he certainly has better options around him now as they prepare to face the Pacers tonight.
:lol

Harden is a bad defender, he was atrocious the first couple of months and I don't know what you are talking about...I was criticizing the fuck out of him. During that period I learned a couple of things myself. Team defense stands out, and the Pacers excel greatly at that. Yes PG excels in that area, but with or without him the pacers would be a great defensive team, which is an important criteria for being championship material. (The defensive rating of every Pacer player is really damn high, look at Scola...who I had the luxury of watching for a good 4-5 yrs...his defensive rating sky rocketed after going to the pacers)
I will also give you this, George plays Harden really well (outside of last game). So if that is what he wants to put on his resume after playing like shit against 90% of the league while Harden plays well against 90% of the league, then more power to him and you.
That being said, this debate really isn't a debate and I won't prolong it. I don't understand why you would pick a Tony Allen over a Stephen Curry. Especially with a defensive powerhouse, offensively retarded team like the Pacers.
Hope you guys find some offense because I don't see you guys overtaking the Heatles otherwise. Best of luck.

You're being redundant. Also, those numbers are stretched. Harden was dealing with an injury the first time they played the Pacers and his numbers were down across the board during those first two months. So... even if I give you that, Harden's misfortune against one team...how does it explain George's inability to score even in the double digits vs the majority of the league. If that is your argument in a can, you do realize that you are propping George up vs a 1 v 1 matchup because he is remedial on offense.
Tony Allen type of player tbh.
0 FGs vs the Bobcats :lol

Even if that is the case, it doesn't dispel any of the criticism towards George or how Harden is a much better player than he is.
Sook, I think the Tony Allen analogy is spot on. You have many players that will play great defense (which is great), but is 1/10 for the value an offensive player brings. Nobody in their right minds would pick a Tony Allen over a Stephen Curry, and to top that, George has been a chucker.
His FG% and numbers are not worthy of All Star mention at this point. He is turning into a joke.

Might be time to start worrying, Heat fans. Coming from the Leastern conference, you have no fucking excuse for this. To put it in perspective, the 9th place team in the west would be 3rd in the east. :lol Struggling in the east

Thanks, someone I knew actually made that argument. Ironically, it was I who was on Romsey's side of the discussion :lol

Last 5 games for PG:
8-22
2-10
3-13
4-17

Almost all of them coming against terrible teams too I may add.
Shooting below 38% in March, and below 30% from distance.
:lol
October: 49%
September: 47%
December: 47%
January: 41%
February: 40%
March: 36%
:lol
If Paul George was a team...he would be the Portland Trailblazers :lmao AKA a "GUEST" player :lmao

Take away the Harden's steady diet of food stamps, a la Stern, and all you have his 15 ppg per game, on 35% shooting, fake tough guy, Mr.T Look-a-Like.

I was not aware of that, wow.
Also, Harden with a triple double in less than 3 quarters today. I'm positive he'll be the WC player of the month with his play in March tbh.
