Similarities abound.
Both entertainment icons have legions of fans willing to continue to make the marketing hucksters happy.
Both have a global appeal.
Some have said both work for the same people. (WWE combining with Stern years ago for a percentage of rigged years.)

Are there any differences?
Hulk is in better physical condition and less likely to repeat injury.
Hulk, while logging the same number of minutes, would not have to make as numerous appearances in a 6 month period. (Kirby with the 82 appearance schudule. I think Hulks would be more like 40.)
Hulk is completely divorced, altho the settlement called for his ex to receive 40% ownership of some of Hulks companies. Not sure where that stands in 2014.
Kirbys Vanessa still holds a 50% hammer over him? Or does she? This could affect how much he is willing to make. Recent payments to San Bernadino also effected Kirbys bottom line.
Kirby may hold a significant advantage with a billion Chinese potentially brainwashed.

Hulk Hogan to make wrestling comeback with WWE at age 60

The Hulkster, who has six WWE Championships under his oversized belt, is expected to make his long-awaited debut on 'Monday Night Raw' next week after breaking from the WWE in 2007. The extent of Hogan's physical involvement has yet to be made clear.

Hogan, easily because the ol' sport accepts the job he is supposed to do and puts over the other wrestlers like the young guns. Kobe is still trying to be the center of attention ....... then again you can say he has no choice
