Pretty good idea IMO, with the implosion of the guests the rockets should be able to win enough games to keep the 4th seed.

They'll probably lose to the clippers today and then OKC in a couple, but I think that they should win the winnable games.

Should have been mentioned that he has been playing on a sore ankle that had a cyst removed like a week ago , so thats the excuse.

pretty obv tank job from the Rockets to avoid OKC and draw the Spurs in the 2nd round. Not a bad move considering how the Thunder have owned em and how they've played the Spurs this year tbh.

Could easily backfire if Golden State slides into that 5 spot. Not a team you want to tank to play. Plus, I'd almost look forward to playing Houston over the Clips if Beverly doesn't get his knee right.

Smart call Havoc, I was never sold on these Rox (dwight hate aside) and said there was no way Rox could beat Spurs (and DPG and Rox fans jumped on me) but with their two best defenders (Pat B & Dwight) wounded heading in to the payoffs Rox should be easy come playoffs.
Plus McHale is the damn coach ...

Regular season success is overrated especially when hot shooting dependent.

Resting this retard is a great way to improve his already stellar free throw shooting

Not a good idea by the Rockets if they are tanking to avoid the Thunder because they could still end up playing them in round 2. Its not set in stone that the spurs will get the 1 seed the Thunder could still get it. Very stupid on the Rockets part. This time of year you should be focusing on winning games and building chemistry going into the playoffs.

I don't think the Rockets are scared of The Thunder or The Spurs. They just want to make sure Howard is healthy for the playoffs. They seemed destined to the #4 or #5 seed either way. Pop would do this if the role was reversed with Duncan.

ding ding ding. Portland is far behind, the best chance we'll have is with a healthy squad.

I'm loving the confidence the Rockets have in facing the Spurs... Series might go six games if lucky.

Be careful what you wish for man. You want to draw them you might just get that team. Neither is an easy series and two of the elite teams in the West (OKC and SA the tops IMO). Flip a coin.

It would be fun you & Houston goin' at it. As long as you beat them it'd be hunky & dory. They'd roll over and let you scratch their bellies and sweet spots. But, God forbid if they beat you. Jesus H. Christ, it'd be WWIII. & I'd get run off---just because.

I can see that but I can't say I wish your team would lose because they are not near the playoffs SIR! So I can't actually get my rocks off laughing at a team sitting at home (NO FUCKING FAIR).

Good news is, its looking like both will be back in time for the playoffs :lol

Right, Havoc. I think GS will definitely get #5 this year. They've had lots of time off and are definitely on a mission to snag it. The Guest team will end up having to settle for #6 or less, IMO.
