If you could change one play in NBA history....change what happens..change what a coach does...change an end result, what would it be? Mine would be last year...Game 6.

Not one of these again.

Should merge all these in "it still hurts" thread upstairs tbh.

It's hard to debate between James Worthy's miscue in 1984 and Robert Horry's missed three pointer in 2003.

Worthy wasn't big game James back then tbh. That paved the way for your next 3 championships tbh.

1. ray allen misses that 3
2. fisher doesn't hit 0.4
3. 2006 mavs goes down differently

unlike the foul on dirk, which some have mentioned, ray allen's shot literally took a championship away. for all we know the spurs could have gotten unlucky somewhere else down the line in 06

I would have changed the angular momentum just slightly on that rebound that led to the Allen 3 but seriously who the fuck cares. I hate these threads.

PcrFan wishes that Vogel didn't bench Hibbert so this wouldn't have happened :lol

As for me, the answer is easy: telling Dumbleavy not to bring in an ice-cold Daniel Ewing off the bench to guard Raja Bell :lol

"worthy choices" (ha) but has to be 1984 ...

We win in 1984 and all things equal Magic is at 6
Kareem is at 7

And MOST importantly

Lakers:17
Celts: 16

2003: Only makes it Kobe 6 Shaq 5 Duncan 3 But Lakers Celts both sit at 17 ...

For this forum 2003 matters more but in the grand scheme Celts are our ONLY "true rivals"

You're right... Worthy (and Magic, this is where his AIDS likely originated -- from choking on too many dicks) choked on a dick in the Finals, but I can't help imagine what would have happened if Horry swished that

"fouling" Dwayne Wade at the end of game 5 of the 2006 Finals, right after Dirk hit a magnificent fadeaway right in Shaq's face, a shot that should have gone down as legendary.

Assuming the rest of history doesn't change afterwards

1. Spurs get rebound game 6
2. Rod Strickland's no look pass
3. .4 misses
4. Manu foul
5. Duncan avoids injury in 2000.

I regret the failure of Bryant to stop the hemorrhaging in the '08 Finals when we were up 23, down 1-2 in Game 4. That one gripes me sharply. It was Bryant's ripe opportunity to make his mark in the post Daddy of his career. Who knows what would have happened had he done his duty there. When he failed we had nary chance.

The play after Manu's foul in '06.

So you guys could go on to get beat by Miami in the Finals per par? :lmao

Sounds more like irrelevant Texas rivalries cloud the sting of 6
