worst movie I have ever seen:

Anaconda Part2; Search for some stupid ass flower.

cast is fully stocked hollywood style:
stuffy old white dudes with power
token black guy#1
token nerd/blackguy #2
crazy dude with a dream
unreasonably attractive science woman
additional credit is given to producers for casting of hott blonde chick with southern accent.

and you know movie is just gonna be a sheer delight with lines like this:
black guy: "whats's wrong with this picture?"
hott chick: " uh, your in it?!"

I refer to the Capt. of that boat as Capt. Brawny.. and you missed the best part of this cheese-fest!!

the part where Capt. Brawny succesfully wrestles what looks to be a 35ft Croc out in open water and kills it with an icepick.

That was horrible.

There was one movie though that I hated so much that I threw my drink at the movie screen when it was over. It was so damn bad. I forgot the title of it but it was a Vampire movie where everyone had British accents and some of the movie was in black and white.

Ahh ... I can't remember the title. I think it came out somewhere around 2000 or something like that.

Never watch that movie. The one with Willem Dafoe??? I iked that one a lot.

Maybe you have to be sort of a vampire film buff to appreciate that one. It's about the making of one of the very first famous silent vampire movies, Nosferatu. The guy who played the vampire in that was a guy named Max Schrek, who nobody had ever heard of before then. He was without a doubt the creepiest vampire ever:

http://www.vampire-world.com/images/biographien/maxschreck/schreck2.jpg

The premise of Shadow of the Vampire was that Schrek wasn't really an actor, but a real vampire that the director had found. Dafoe was outstanding as Schrek.

Also, Zulu..another high falutin' foreign film (British) about Britains war with the Zulus. It's considered a masterpiece, but I give it :td :td

never saw that one....but saw basically the same movie in the 70's....it was pretty retched.

for me personally....Natural Born Killers....only movie I have ever walked out of.

"Okay, guys, huddle up. Here's the challenge: How can we possibly fuck up a movie with John Malkovich, Steve Buchemi, Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames, and Dave Chapelle?"

"I've got it! We'll get Nicolas Cage to star..."

"BRILLIANT!"

"...wait, wait, I wasn't done."

"How can it get worse than having Nicolas Cage as our action star?"

"Get this: he talks like a redneck. Ah? Ah?"

"Wow. That's pure genius. You just made Executive Producer, my boy..."

"Oh, there's more where that came from. Have I told you about my idea for the remake of the Dukes of Hazzard? Get this: Willie Nelson as Uncle Jessie. Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg."

"Incredible. Hollywood is yours for the taking, son. With ideas like that, you're going to rule this town."

"I'm just getting started. Wait until my joint project written and directed by, starring, and edited by Vincent Gallo..."

Kori, I hated Forest Gump too! I have never understood why people loved that movie! The only good thing from that movie was that dumb quote that's so overused now "Life is like a box of chocolates...."

Other dumbass movies:
1) BEWITCHED--This literally has to be the worst movie EVER! Nicole Kidman talks in this weird breathy, soft voice throughout the movie, like she's have a 2 hour orgasim or soemthing and it's a remake of them remaking the orginal Bewitched...WTF?!

2) Steel Magnolia--I cry in all movies (heck I even cried in Lion King when the dad dies), but that movie had no depth in it whatsoever. I had no feelings or sympathy for Julia Roberts when she died. Really BAD!

3) Head of State--You'd think a movie with Chris Rock and Bernie Mac would have you laughing in tears---but sadly, not. Horrible movie with lameass lines. "What are you're plans for NATO?" Bernie: "I don't know no NATO, I ain't ever heard bout no NATO." :rolleyes

4) Jurassic Park 2--I LOVED the first one, 3rd one was even ok, but that second one was so dumb and pointless.

5) Ms. Congeniality 2--Seriously the worst movie EVER. No point to it whatsoever. The first one was kinda cute. I just rented the second one---I want my 5 bucks back and the 2 hours of my life I wasted watching that crap :depressed

Boondock Saints is awful. About the only thing it should be good for is having a good laugh at the over-acting by Willem Dafoe and the over-directing by whoever directed it. But a lot of people actually take it seriously as a work of film.

Not sure how critically acclaimed it was, but it was big with '90s hipster-types. I've never seen it.

I remember seeing Switchback with Dennis Quaid, Danny Glover and Jared Leto and having its badness kind of sneak up on me. Like, I watched the whole movie, turned it off and said to myself, "Damn, that movie sucked." i can never think of the worst film and i've seen my share. i think i go a bit easy on films, maybe because i respect the hard work that goes into it, so even shitty films, i still try to make sense of it. i've never walked out of a theater while the movie was still playing, i'll follow that shit to completion.

only film I can remember not finishing on VHS was Police Academy:Mission to Moscow, and I actually enjoy the series, so maybe that is the worst film I've seen. At the very worst those films are a guilty pleasure but Moscow was so terrible it killed off the franchise.

the films that piss me off the most are soulless Oscar bait, like they are just preaching to a liberal choir and the film has no real voice. i hate those types so I rarely watch them.

two films that I thought were absolute garbage, and I thought about walking out on until they turned into beautiful works of flaming shit that I'll never forget, are Aliens vs Predator and Battle Los Angeles. I just remember being so bored with both of them until there was a key moment where it went from a B movie to absolute Grade Z shit. I really enjoy that moment when audiences realize what they are watching is so bad, they start mocking the film MST3K style.

Battle Los Angeles

This movie was garbage. The 'shaky camera' effect is totally overused, and the choreography in the action scenes is so damn confusing it's hard to tell the heroes from the villains.

I can honestly say I got more enjoyment out of Battle of Los Angeles, the straight-to-video ripoff of the Eckhart movie.

Anybody get hypercritical towards movies when they are drunk? I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark again last night drunk and didn't really like the Hollywood-ness of it (the sound editing, the action, the predictable plot, etc.). It's still a good movie, and I like Indiana Jones, but it wasn't as good when I re-watched it. The same thing happened with Prisoners. And when I first saw Seven Psychopaths drunk, I hated that movie. But then again, maybe it's a bad movie.
