They weren't riots. They were civilians on the streets en mass who were loud, but the escalation was brought about by shit like that cop needlessly getting physical to a pedestrian.

PD and city getting sued, he's getting shitcanned, and then he should be prosecuted.

You're wrong. With the video, there's no excuse. None. And within 24 hours it was announced IA was investigating.

The idea that was a riot was laughable.

So instead of just walking back to the dorm, you get hammered and play for the crowd. You got cops already pelted by various objects, mad as hell, so you play hang around clown to get face planted.

Its fun to show the world how cops react when irritated, let's test them, take some pepper spray just for the hell of it. These students are just fighting for their freedom, just like the people of Syria. If they would have just smoked pot they would have been next to a cop in a doughnut shop on a binge mission.
