...upset the Thunder? I know it was just regular season, but Dallas took 2-3 in the series. Seems like they match up well with OKC tbh.

If so, Spurs romp to the finals will be like butter.

I don't see an upset in the wc first round that said, Mavs vs okc would probably be the most competitive, maybe along with Memphis vs whoever.

Nah, the Mavs are screwed. They win 1 game against the Thunder and none against the Spurs.

Mavs stink and will be swept by whomever they play. Book it.

It'd be interesting. If Dirk can play Durant even then they'd have a legit shot. That perimeter D is garbage without Sefolosha and the Mavs have perimeter guys that can exploit that matchup tbh. They'd also have a vastly superior coaching advantage.

Better chance than again the Spurs as they would sweep the Mavs...

If Perk is hurt and Tabo and Chimpbrook not 100 percent, it is possible tbh....15 percent chance

I just get the feeling Monta is going to shoot em out of any chance they have... add Calderon probably disappearing once the pressure mounts... don't really see it, but when you have the Diggler, there's always hope.

Grizzlies & Mavs pose a threat to the thunder. The D that the Thunder lack could be their undoing but at least the ol' sports have the offense to offset it.

Hoping for this matchup. It would be easier for the old legs.

We can still beat elite teams if we want to and the current OKC (with beard nig gone to Anustown) ain't an elite team by any means. Dirk will be playing more minutes come playoffs, and our team is the most experienced playoff team in the west imho.

Eh, define experience. The Mavericks' roster definitely has a hefty amount of total playoff games, but the only two players who have been to the finals before are Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion.

Now look at OKC. Their entire core was in the finals just 2 years ago, they're not ones to shiver under the spotlight. The Spurs were actually much closer to winning it last year than OKC was in 2012, so you can add that to SA's resume. The Rockets have Howard/Harden, both of them have been in the final round before. Even the Grizzlies know what playoff basketball feels like.

IMO experience only plays a positive when the team you're playing against doesn't have any. If Team A has been to the conference finals 2 consecutive years, they're not going to shrink against Team B who has lost in the first round every year.
