First, thank you Dallas, for losing to GS. You put us against phx instead of grizz in the playoff bracket. I don't care what anyone says about the grizz, they are a more physical, harder out than either dallas or phx. Of course we would beat any of them, but why put up with the grizz beating up on our bigs for 4-5 games?

Second, thank you Dalls for playing GS close and taking it to OT, you forced GS to play their key starters 40+ minutes, making it much more likely the roll over tomorrow.

I'd rather see the spurs play the slow grizz than phx. We always have trouble against faster/athletic teams and don't forget that Dragic is a spurs killer. They also have streaky shooters in green (that boy can play) and Frye.

You think there is a chance we lose to phx, dallas or the grizz? I mean, barring injury?

and why is it premature to thank them?

Because the playoff seedings are not SET yet. That was one game of like 25 that the three teams have yet to play.

There is nothing for sure yet so its better not to be cocky we must/must/must finish with a better record than OKC so I think its time to just shut up and see what happens.

I would much rather play Memphis, Phoenix has a pretty solid team that can get hot fast. They've proven that by beating a lot of great teams this year, they could actually make a series with us last a while

Phx is not that good at all. They have played well above their heads IMO. They have some guys who have come out of no where and despite the fact the media is hyping up their coach I don't think he is that good. They take too many bad shots to be a real threat IMO - that is if they even make it.

Verde will shutdown Dragic. Series over in 5, tbh.

Both the Grizz and Suns aren't good teams. Memphis made the biggest mistake of their franchise by firing Hollins after they went to the WCF.

Dallas is probably the best team of the three.

I hope we get them. Beating their ass will never get old.

This. And I hope they miss the playoffs. It would be funny if new management for the Nugs and Grizz fired the Coach of the Year (Karl) and the man that got them to the WCF (Hollins) respectively, only for both teams to miss the playoffs the next year. Good job folks.

Spurs can beat any of these teams easily, even Memphis. The Spurs have them figured out. With 2 weeks to go and many of these teams still playing each other I find this thread unnecessary tbh

Neither is worrisome upset-wise, but the Suns are scrappy and well coached. With a couple of fluky shooting games they could muck up a series. I'd rather see Memphis. They are shell of the team that looked like it was on the rise a couple seasons ago.

Rather face Dallas. They're a run-and-gun team like we are, not a grind-it-out physical team like Memphis, but with guys like Diggler and Vince and Monta who are allergic to defense. Easy series, no injuries. And easy travel.

I don't want to play PHX. Dragic has historically torched us, the morris twins kill us with their jump shooting ability, amd they have a number of guys who can just burn us. I'm sure we would win, but I still think it goes 6 possibly 7.

Don't want PHX - Dragic is a Spur killer and then add speedy player like Bledsoe - much prefer dealing with big men. TD, Splitter and Diaw can handle Zach and Marc. Speedy players like Reggie Jackson - no thanks.

This kind of talk is ancient history. Teams want no part of the Spurs and are battling to stay out of the 8 seed - My, how times have changed. I want the Spurs to have the toughest challenge possible to winning the title. It keeps the team focused and prepared all the way through to the end. Who ever lines up against them, take 'em down. Memphis-Houston-OKC-Miami please....that's if OKC gets by Clips.

I don't trust Cuban and don't put it past him to order cheap shots on our guys to hurt our title chances. Seeing his face last night when Curry hit the game winner with 0.1 second left was priceless
