Daemon - pretty good tech thriller, kind of Michael Crichton ish
Freedom - follow up to the above, so far pretty good

House In the Sky - true story about a photographer and friend that got kidnapped in Afghanistan. Good book

not sure what to think about that. seems like his writing isn't as sharp as it used to be. although I did like the book about the Kennedy plot.
Did you read Doctor Sleep?

Yeah, I liked it quite a bit but I don't think there was any way I wouldn't like it. I'd rather have more Dark Tower side stories like Wind Through the Keyhole but I'm sure they are coming.

Since its The Club this is bound to get posted, i'll get it out of the way now and hopefully the usual suspects just ignore the thread.

Started reading this, found this whole movement interesting after watching The Punk Singer.

i read so much shit for school that my ability to enjoy a book has been tarnished. i can't just sit down and read something anymore. i feel like i have to analyze and absorb it as quickly as i can. really blows.

Really? I'm the opposite. Since I finished school I found reading a lot more enjoyable because I get to choose what I read and don't have to write some stupid paper on it.
