Every since 2004 when my car was broken into I stopped producing music I was bitter and had no equipment but now I'm adding one new piece every two weeks anyone who loves music and like me
can't really play worth a shit we can get together once a month for the
Club's once a month Jam sessions.

Found this dusty electric drum kit for 99 dollars at the pawnshop last Thursday.

Funny thing was it was cheaper to buy another complete drum kit on eBay for 50 dollars than to buy the 10 missing cables the pawnshop drums had at 7.99 each.

Dude, download FL Studio off TPB and go all virtual instruments. That drum machine is worthless without the mixing board, keyboards, guitars, etc.

Sorry for late reply I would just scroll past any replies as I felt it would be some sort of ridicule or insult. :lmao

I usually get something like ...

"STFU ...you old ass hippy , and get a job!"

"who cares about your stupid ass trailer park music studio gtg?" :lmao

But to get back to your response I am with you I have all kinds of software Virtual DJ Fruity Loops MagiX music maker Avid Pro tools Alelrton 9

Reason 9 Native Instruments IK multi media etc...

But half the fun is doing it on the actual instruments. You feel more connect to the film , song or sound track ...I find it challenging but also much more rewarding.

or at least until the beer wears off and I go back to using the PC. :lmao

That's so cool bass and a wind instrument is what is missing.
The when is in May. The where is still not set not sure if bigzax has that huge empty house anymore might have to rent a place for two days.

But for now can you post a few vids of you making some noise?

I may be able to put something together with indivisible sound clips.

Let's do three demos one being a blues song about the sad posters of the club and a hip song about the TRolls

And the third song freestyle what ever you feel at the moment.

I will do the same.

Maybe you can get Avante to write some lyrics about you-know-who since he has been writing lots of poems and prose about him lately.

The lead singer and keyboard player have passed away.
Two live in Austin, one the lead engineer at Fox TV Austin.
People have proposed a reunion but without Alex the lead singer, it isn't possible.
If it's a wav file then I can transfer it to my protools, but don't know how to put it back on this computer.

Just use your bass and harmonica and come up with a blues song about The Club I will try and add to it or just do my own version of metal or new wave version so we can test how the quality sounds online.

That is easy.
And we can do it more and record the jam session too. I have a Roland CD portable work station that will do this for us and make each one at the jam a copy.

Can you make a short vid on what your Roland does for you I can text you my photo bucket password make your own page.

Also with all your equipment and talent how come you don't use it for the film producers they are always looking for sound effects and music backgrounds.

I really wish I could but I am just not that computer literate.
I only recently figured out how to post links, still can't post pics or polls, so I am a novice in this area.

I am still struggling with Pro Tools.
Give me the old 8 and 16 track reel to reels and I can do something.
Computers came later.
I can barely do what I do now.
Grandkids do rings around me.

lolwut?

You keep bumping your own shit thread. That would be the equivalent of someone insisting they're getting stalked, but waving to get the "stalker's" attention cuz they were worried the "stalker" had lost sight of them.
