Who wins this potential 2nd round heavyweight matchup, tbh?..

Thunder. I just don't buy this Clipper team as a legit contender.

I'd say the Clippers. They thrive on closing out mentally weak opponents, and if Westbrook is healthy, it plays into their hands

If both teams are healthy, Clippers. As is, prolly the Thunderefs.

At very least, I think we can give them a tough series, and definitely have a good chance to beat them, tbh.... it helps that Brooks is such a shit coach and Westbrook tends to try too hard when he plays in LA....

The Thunder are forced to play Perk against them since both Griffin/Jordan are athletic enough to keep up with a smallball lineup. That's 4 v 5 right there.

The fact that Brooks calls Caron Butler isos on the regular also kills OKC tbh :lol

Home court and the inevitable parade to the FT line might be enough to push the Thunder into the WCF but it'll be a great series IMO

We might need the greatest flops of CP3's career to counteract the Durbeta whistlefest, tbh :lol

don't have to worry about that. Clippers come from the Nicholas Cage and kabuki theater tradition of acting.

Clippers match up well with them.. and I think they take it in 6 or 7. I had a long quote about it in a thread not too long ago... but it's on like the 2nd or 3rd page..

hopefully clippers get either warriors or memphis in the first round, they have alot of bad blood between them....if it goes to 7 games, then good for the other teams waiting for them in the next round

Gun to my head, us in 7 games. The Clippers matchup well with us and Brooks will continue to stand by while this team has no true coaching leader on the bench nor any semblance of an offensive system when shit gets real. We'll have to get by with the greatness of Kevin and Russ.

Normally i'd say OKC without hesitation..... but they've been underwhelming lately. LAC look like the real deal this year..... only because Blake G. has made that jump we all anticipated him eventually making.

Should be a good match between these two ol' sports but I see the Thunder on the winning end. Neither team is great defensively and in a match up with two teams of offensive nature, the Thunder will come out on top.

The clipps have absolutely no chance of beating SA either, tbh. You would have to be a retarded homer to think so.

It's the playoffs. All bets are off. You just supported your team for a long ass 82 game season. You go all the way and believe they have a shot. They're not exactly chopped liver, Howard, Harden and a bevy of hard nosed, system players in place. This is not a case of Atlanta going up against Miami or Charlotte versus Indiana :lol Have some faith, otherwise might as well call the Dwight-Harden experiment a failure from here on out coz that tandem isn't gonna get better down the line.

Well lets get one thing clear on my premise, it requires a healthy Dwight and Beverly. All the points you made are correct, but if those two aren't healthy and playing you can't really blame me for my pessimism. They are projected to come back, so if they play like they should and are at full health, then absolutely...all bets are off and anything can happen.

The other downside is bench production, we have a couple of turds we need to unload in the off season. Casspi and Lin are not NBA level players. I smfh everytime they are on the court. Can they play well? Absolutely. Will they be consistent? Don't count on it.

The Rockets, Clips, and Thunder have all the tools to beat SA in a 7-game series. Don't be fooled by the Spurs' 19-game winning streak because at the end of the day, it doesn't mean anything.

Perk may play tonight. Clips can't beat the spurs. CP3 disappears and Blake gets exposed. H town has a small chance , but they would have to shoot 60% from 3. Okc is best bet to upset spurs. Perkins being out has had a monster effect on that team. And I'm not sure them winning in 2012 wasn't an anomaly. If Icaca goes 11-11 and that dickhead white kid goes 9-11 we gonna have a big problem. And they have TWO spur killers. Dusty Fischer still hitting 5 3s against us. So old he farts dust. Meanwhile in NYC he goes 0-8. WTF. Tomorrow will be more telling. I suspect CIA Pop may rest some guys, but maybe not, no heavy minutes played against GSW. Were the only heathy team right now too. Let's hope it stays that way...

(Hopefully) CP3 and the Clipshow exorcise their second round demons and win the series. They definitely have some favorable matchups (Coaches, PF, PG, etc). I don't see it happening, though. As much as Blake has improved, LAC go as far as CP3 takes them, and CP3 is a perennial loser.

Dont buy in to that black coach bull on here compared to the shitty coaches in the NBA (black & white) Doc is a fine coach. Not on the Pop/RC/Tibbs level but superior to Vogel, Brooks Mjackson and especially McHale.

Clips have a good chance of winning. I don't have much faith in the Servant to be able to carry the team to victory. Russ vs CP3 is a toss up because it could go either way both are hot heads but I will say this CP3 has better control over his emotions while Westbrook doesn't. I think Russ will take the match up with CP3 personal and will start jacking up shots to the detriment of the team. This series will get ugly I wouldn't be shocked if a brawl happens.

Clippers. Teams are evenly matched but this is the rare instance where the black coach>>the white coach. As a side note, McHale and Brooks need to die in a car accident together. They are bringing down the collective IQ of the Great White Coach significantly.
