I don;t see anything un-classy about DRob in this situation. And i bet you his stance is still the same.

His stance was that the First Amendment isn't applicable in times of war or if the sentiment expressed is unpopular. What exactly are our soldiers then fighting for anyway, Mr. Robinson? Why did you wear a naval uniform, Mr. Robinson?

"I get a little bit upset," Robinson said. "The time for debate is really beforehand. Obviously history will speak on whether this was the right thing or the wrong thing, but right now (the soldiers) are out there. Support 'em. There's plenty of time for commentary later."

I was there too. I had never seen the Spurs beat the Lakers, so that one was sweet. The whole game all I could think was, oh my God, this guy's actually here now AND he's killing Magic.

I think that game was also the first NBA game ever broadcast on NBC.

Exactly! Anthony Davis had a way better supporting cast in NO than DRob in SA and still couldn't make the playoffs most years.
