View Full Version : Spurs should rest Tim Duncan tonight. If they rest another, it should be Parker

Tim Duncan hurts this team against OKC. Can't run the floor, can't guard Ibaka's midrange shot, cannot contain Durant on a switch in the P&R.

Tony Parker will be tired and can't take on OKC's length

The first guy to rest tonight should be Duncan. The second should be Parker.

Tiago, Diaw, Kawhi will be key against Ibaka, Durant. Green on Westbrook and Jackson. Manu and Beli can hide on Butler and Lamb.

Thabo is not even playing.

Exactly. TP's worst nightmare is not playing so he should play.

Manu is horrendous against OKC. Not as bad as he is against Miami but still pretty bad.

Pop should rest the big 3 tonight - when they lose, they still have 1 game (HOU) to give and still be #1 seed. Spurs on a back-to-back. OKC off since Monday.

Tim Duncan...Can't run the floor

What? He still runs the floor very well actually. I was going to find Youtube evidence, but I don't even feel like I need to justify my position. It should be obvious if you watch the games.

There's nothing pathetic about that, if your wife goes out every night with her male best friend then you simply "believe in her"? You need rational reasons to be confident in anything and they're nowhere to be found vs OKC... That's the bottom line...

I was more referencing his struggles in the '12 WCF where Thabo shut him down after Game 2. But if you look at the games this year, they haven't really put him on TP those games, like they were testing other matchups and saving that for later down the line.

Tim Duncan and Tony Parker are not difference makers against length and mobility teams. Proof tonight.
