The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed forward Grant Jerrett to a contract.

Jerrett (6-10, 232) joins the Thunder after spending the past season with the Tulsa 66ers where he appeared in 27 games (25 starts) and averaged 15.1 points and 6.1 rebounds in 29.3 minutes per game.

The Thunder secured the rights to Jerrett on draft night after he was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 40th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

each team can only register 12 players for the playoffs I think, doesn't make sense to me why they signed this nig tbh.

They signed a quitter who'll listen more to input from his washed up HS coach than any current coach. See, people think handlers stop holding sway once the NBA is achieved. Wrong. Especially in this case since said washed up former coach is now his agent, who'll tell him he needs to get his own and do right for himself so he can earn more and more money based upon stats, not upon chemistry and fit within system.

He's officially a straight chucker now. Weaker version of Channing Frye.

And this is a player whom in high school was said to have the best combinations of low-post skills for a HS prospect since Duncan.

Sad.

He'll shoot his way out if games and into the bench, then sulk, quit, be useless other than lockerroom cancer.
