Fail post.
I been saying a series between the 2 teams is a toss up. (of course MVParker would need to be healthy for spurs to have a chance in hell)
and of course Spurs need HC for that, otherwise, spurs have a 25% chance. Still not a sweep even in the worst case tbh.

It's not surprising at all. He believes in jinxes and reverse jinxes, so he believes he can't predict the Spurs will win. Like a lot of posters on here, he believes "true fans" are pessimistic and he says they suck even when they win 19 straight.

interesting.
But IMO Skip really speaks his beliefs, so he truly believes Spurs have no chance in hell vs. the Thunder.
either that or he is one of the best trolls in broadcasting
Skip = sensationalism.
Picking the Spurs last season was the bold move.
Picking against the Spurs is now the bold move.

he's been a troll for about a decade
ESPN has been putting this troll on primetime for years. Pretty telling of that "news" network

If he thinks the Spurs are as light in their loafers as him...then he'd be right!

and hes right
havent seen anything yet from the Spurs that would indicate they can beat OKC
they could easily do it if OKCs roleplayers played to their averages like they do vs every other team in hte NBA
but we all know that wont happen
Jackson averaged like 20 points on 60%+ shooting and Ibaka wont miss

He picked against them in the WCF. He predicted they would lose to the :lolGrizzlies:lol.

And this is why you don't listen to Skip Bayless.

not sure if he is reverse jinxing or just a clueless phanboi but he's a product of espn and you can tell that right away, even when he fluffs the spurs.

he's a huge reason why an average NBA fan hates the Spurs and why they would rather root for the Heat.

Obviously an assumption that the Spurs would fare exactly the same against OKC in the playoffs (or any closely seeded teams for that matter) as they did in the regular season (when it was one sided) is a weak take.

still I don't see a sweep like Skip does, but OKC is the best in the West hands down.

Yes. And his show with Stephen A is all about shouting extremes to drive ratings. It's not the place to go for intelligent, thoughtful analysis. He's paid to be a clown.

People really need to look @ the 4 games we played them this year and take a better look at the factors involved. I don't think OKC is better than we are.

OKC beating us 4 times in the regular season is not a 7 game series, the playoffs are a different beast.
Fireball
04-10-2014, 10:14 AM
OKC sweeping us? That's bullshit ... right now I think they beat the Spurs 4-2 ... its just that the Spurs will have a much harder time getting to the WCF this season and they might already run out of gas (plus may have some injuries) when facing OKC
Beaverfuzz
04-10-2014, 01:52 PM
I'd say it's closer to 50/50, with OKC having a bit more advantage than the Spurs...but that's why you play the 4-7 games!
