They got out to that early lead because of his hot shooting, and everytime the Mavs looked to make a comeback he dropped a dagger. Patty has become a really good asset this year.

Having said that, we will NOT ring if he has to take over the duties of Parker for an extended period of time.

He brings the energy we need in spurts but he is no Parker. His problem is that he gets so into the game when he is hot, he tries to take shots that are ill-advised, luckily they have been going in but that wont last in a playoff series. There have been plenty of times Pop has had to scream at him from the sideline to slow it down. Hell, I've screamed at the TV myself when he has the ball and decides to take a bad shot. Lucky for him they have been going in.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE what Patty brings to the team, but sometimes he just gets ahead of the game and takes some really bad shots....
