Hey guys!

On the heels of Mills' big game for the Spurs here is my column on Mills and how his improvement has helped make a huge difference for the Spurs this season. There are a lot of good numbers in here that show how valuable Mills has been, including one about how he is the best pull-up three-point shooter in the league. I hope you guys enjoy it.

He was in the 2012 Olympics for sure! But tonight I thought he took the same shots Parker would on top of some threes that Parker wouldn't take because he's not as good of a three-point shooter.

Thanks man!

I was in there a few minutes ago. Didn't realize until just now that I said "And Mills isn’t just an off the dribble gunner." in my article. Funny.

Patty has been a great addition to the team. Not as good of a penetrator or finisher as Parker, but I trust him more on defense and 3s. People only hate on him here because ST is about the hate.

The dude is a decent off the bench SG.

Actually Parker and Duncan both lobby for him to be the backup PG in the off-season..

Not surprising. I also saw him in Las Vegas hanging around with the Summer League team this summer. Guy is clearly well-liked inside the organization, although the Spurs don't really have anybody that isn't.

I like how he can handle and act as a spot-up shooter when Manu handles the ball.

26 points on 25 shots, tbh......... Not very impressive.

I did like the 6 assist/0 turnover ratio, though.

It's hard to believe that Patty shot 3/14 from inside the three-point line. That's 21%, for those keeping track. How do you manage to shoot so poorly up close? That's one of the worst stats I've ever seen, tbh. Maybe he needs to only shoot from beyond the arc, where he shot 56%, tbh...

surprisingly retarded article, in general there is some annoying spurs cocksucking based on absolutely shitty evidence.

There's a tendency for NBA fans to overrate chuckers, tbh...

People like to see points scored, all other facets of the game and shooting percentages be damned. I think people would be impressed if a player scored 56 points on 60 shots, tbh... even though that would be embarrassingly horrible and inefficient.

He got bad bounces on a couple of his mid range Js tbh he's a great shooter but Tony needs to practice with him and teach him how to finish at the basket. He missed a couple point blank.

I'm not sure what article you're reading. I didn't mention any per game stats like points per game, and the article was submitted before last night's game so I wasn't spurred to write it because Mills scored a lot. And you're going to get an inefficient night from a role player if you thrust him into the offense and expect him to play the Tony Parker role. When Parker is healthy and Mills is back into his role as a supersub, he's been incredibly efficient.

Oh, I wasn't referencing the article, tbh. Just an unrelated rant, tbh.

Sorry I was hostile then. :toast I think I meant to respond to the guy that called it a "retarded" article. :(
