according to his son, craig was diagnosed with leukemia and will be undergoing treatmenthttp://i58.tinypic.com/34gx4z4.png

If Craig Sager's son's Twitter is to be believed, the sideline reporter will be starting a treatment for acute leukemia Friday.
Craig Sager II (https://twitter.com/CraigSagerJr) posted some photos of his father, along with the news:

My Dad's 3-4-week acute leukemia treatment starts tmrw.Be thinking of him & let's get him back on the sidelines soon pic.twitter.com/5CNI55p2Gx (http://t.co/5CNI55p2Gx)

If the length of the treatment wasn't enough of an indication, Sager's followup tweet suggests that Sager won't be covering NBA playoff games on TNT for the near future.

@MikeSolarte (https://twitter.com/MikeSolarte) Thanks. We'll be watching lots of basketball together these playoffs. And it's more time for him to brainstorm some new outfits.

Getting Leukemia at the older stage of life is a doozie. Hopefully he'll be able to take to the treatment and he'll be alright. Aint no one on top of the fashion game like Mr. Seger.

Lost my uncle to it... it literally obliterated him in a year. Hope he makes it.

Never thought I'd say this but...the sidelines just won't be the same without his crazy ass.

Could be a front for an AIDs diagnosis.
