Greg Popovich or Manu Ginobili ? its still mind boggling that a couple years from now the big 3 and greg will be gone!

BOTH of them, they are part of the so called Dynasty of the Spurs... I will miss both TBH. One day we won't see either on the floor or the sidelines, dark ages that will be for us Spurs fans who have been spoiled for so long.

Why live in the past or the future? You're probably going to miss the moments lost lamenting about the future. One of the many things Spurs fans do I'll never understand.

This is true, the present is a gift that is why it is called the present!

What do you mean "so called Dynasty" as if to invalidate them as a Spur fan?

Mocking some idiots who say that, what did you think I meant by it? IMO it is a dynasty, to many it is. So called would be objective, to me it is not but some clown LA fans and other haters will deny it, that was tongue in cheek there. Some idiot Spurs fans who are not happy will even say they never repeated, shows you they are just spoiled.

both in different ways. manu was the most exciting spurs player of this era.

i would miss pop in an indirect way, the product on the floor just won't be as good

Of just those two, Popovich. He effects the team more than Manu does now.

I will miss Parker more than Manu by a wide margin, and Duncan more than all 3 easily.

Definitely Pop, but I don't think he's going to be leaving anytime soon.

If they all are going at the same time (say after we won #5), its:

Duncan > Pop > Manu

...just because Duncan and Pop have been there for all four ships.

If one of them is around longer than the other two, it probably will put this guy on top of the list, as his retirement it telling us: The run is over for good.

Pop will move upstairs as VP of Basketball Operations when he's done coaching ala Pat Riley. He'll be a Spur for a long while yet.

I will miss Manu more than any other player, period. He is exciting, scary, a complete warrior, and more clever than anyone on the court. Best court vision I have ever seen on any Spurs team. Skill sets out the wazoo. And the occasional idiotic play that makes you tear your hair out but which adds to his excitement. You just never know which Manu you are going to see.

Pop will be missed, not because I like him, but because I respect what he has done.

He's the President of Spurs basketball right now. He's already upstairs.

Pop is already the second most powerful person in the spurs organization behind holt.

Manu. Just an exciting, fun player to watch. I'd argue Pop is the MOST powerful person in the Spurs organization. You think Holt can fire him?

I agree with you, kind sir. Knowing full well that time is running out on the spurs' 4 pillars, we as fans should just live in the present. Living in the past doesn't get us anywhere, and thinking of something that has yet come to pass let's us take for granted what we have now. Today is a gift, that is why it's called "present". :toast

Neither...none of the team is particularly endearing or fan friendly

Kinda the Spurs way

Ginobili, easily, tbh..

Pop is more valuable, but it's difficult to "miss" a coach until you see his replacement..I don't believe you can grow as attached to a coach, they aren't on the floor, they don't have highlights or "moments"..

The only way to miss a coach is if his replacement runs a poor system, or no system, tbh..

A player is much easier to miss, especially a guy like Ginobili, since he's a unique and unorthodox player, tbh..

I miss Manu and have been missing him since around 2009. The guy that plays in the Ginobili jersey these days is NOT Manu.
