Mavs are a 49-win 8 seed. In quality they're more like a 6th seed, but the West is so tough that they were the last team in. What has surprised me is that it hasn't really been that even, the Mavs have won 6.5 of the 8 quarters played. I was of the opinion coming into the series that we would be lucky to not get swept.

Man the Spurs beat themselves not only by the turnovers but not trying anything new as far as strategy for game 2. Lets see if COTY uses his big ass brain to change things up. The silver lining of the loss is that the team will take a long and hard look at what they need to change in order to win. Spurs are pretty good coming off losses. That's something us fans can always fall back on. But well see what happens. You can bet Dallas crowd will be a whole lot louder than our sorry as att center crowd.
