WAY fucking better. They were a matchup nightmare for us. This is not the same situation.

:lol That 2006 Mavs team was a Danny Crawford screwjob from being champions that year.

This year's Mavs team would struggle to win 2 games in the next round. The Spurs losing this year would be 10000x more of a chokejob than 2006 or even the 2007 choke by the Mavs tbh.

It feels like 2006 in the sense that Duncan and Manu are carrying the team and Parker is STILL disappointing Spurs fans. Pop getting outcoached is still frustrating eight years later.

The difference is if The Mavs win this series , a big IF, then they are going to get creamed in the next round which will then bring similarities to 2009 when Melo creamed them.
