Not quite.. We beat these guys 9 straight times.. Can easily do it again.

But I agree pretty much. Would be a sad, sad end. I think Duncan and Ginobili retire if it ends like this.

I don't. They've all pretty much said they'll be back next year. We won't win anymore titles but we'll at least get to see them play a little bit more.

Which would be a mistake. Let the FO rebuild. Let the fans move on. Oh and take Pop with you :lol

Finals was over at the moment Ray Allen sank the dagger. Round 1 would be over if Dallas wins today. Go spurs

Ginobili and Duncan are too competitive to let it end like this. Pop, Duncan, and Ginobili will get Parker to work his butt off this off-season so he comes back in much better shape, and they'll also get Buford to get off of his butt and make some significant improvements to the roster that will actually work for once. Last move that was succesfull was trading Hill for Leonard.

TD sent into retirement by Dejuan Blair?

dem the stakes...

should we lose tonight, the viability of suicide should be considered shortly thereafter, tbh...

Belli actually looked like a decent Fiat on Saturday, though. Better than the 1980s run-down POS Fiat he had looked like during the first two games, tbh. Maybe tonight he'll look like an Alfa Romeo and by game 5 he'll be a Ferrari.

Im positive next season will be the last of the success. I mean this team won 61 games, they can win just as many next year. No team in the West is going to really emerge next season either, if anything the Clippers might be nonexistant, the Rockets are limited, the Thunder will be there, so it will still be open for the Spurs next year.

Yeah, barring injuries next year looks good for the Spurs first repeat.

The regular season wins don't mean anything if we're not playing a style of ball that works in the playoffs.

Meanwhile the Thunder until a couple of nights ago we're getting pushed to the brink by the likes of Beno Udrih and Tony Allen. Let's have this conversation after we lose one more.

Not really. It's a basketball game with a bunch of people who would otherwise be working for state or federally run departments, milking the clocks and hanging out on the back docks with the shipping and receiving guys trying to avoid their managers and make it until 5pm. They hit the genetic lottery, big fucking deal. The game is a dance, and the dance goes on despite the dancers coming and going. Dynasty my ass... it's a game.

Just got tickets for a Spurs game in Germany in october (against a german team). I'm so thrilled to see my heros live.

Hopefully half of the team isn't retired by then. :)

Yep. Spursfans lucky. We get a chance or maybe even 2 at one more ring, in a small market too. Might be a loooong time til were taking contention for granted again...
