Blair stopped caring until his NBA career flashed before his eyes last summer. He wants one last decent contract then it's off to Whataburger and the jewelry store.

If he played with that kind of effort last year maybe he would still be here.

See, I'm glad for Blairs chance to play in the NBA, but that dude should be thankfull we gave him his chance. Otherwise he probably would be working at 7eleven, stealing Snicker bars every few minutes.

He now is with a new team and gving his best against us. Ok, so far. But against the team that put you in NBA shoes, you gotta show some respect (especially if its not the Clippers).

If he played with that kind of effort last year maybe he would still be here.

His effort was not really the issue. It was his severe lack of basketball smarts and lack of a defensive game. If we had a mobile big man, he would have been exposed, as every playoff opponent did against us when he wore the silver & black.

Something about being a Mav (the Terry nutsack grab/punch on Finley) and now (the facekick by Blair to Splitter's face). You just wanna hurt the Spurs in the playoffs. It's in your nature. Nothing you can do about it.

The Spurs exposed Blair in the other 3 games of the series, tbh..he was by far the worst defensive big in the series, coming into this game..

The problem tonight was that Duncan was immobile, unlike games 1 and 3, and Parker was a complete no-show(Parker's penetration killed Blair in the other games)..

I would hope Dfagg is available for game 5. I think IMO he's the Spurs best 6th player. I agree with poster above that he's the worst defending big man in the Mavs and his tiny brain actually helps the Spurs.I would also think Pop already knows to instruct his player that if this fat piece of lardass has the ball to put him on his ass and make him earn those points.

I think it's clear. If DPussy is in a mav uniform in game 5, Spurs got this series easily. If DCocksucker is suspended, mavs got a real chance.

thanks DShit. :tu :lol

Blair was horrible in games 1 to 3, tbh..Duncan killed him prior to tonight and Tony penetrated at will when he was in the game..he was by far the worst defensive big in the series, prior to game 4..

He looked good tonight with Duncan having one of his "old man" games and Parker not showing up..

It was an anomaly, tbh..if Blair is in the game, Pop will have the Spurs attacking him at will, just like they did prior to tonight..

Story of his NBA career. He can be playing great and then will remind you why he should be on the bench in an instant. Usually its his defense, this time it's his temperament.

People are placing too much importance on this scrub. First three games he played 4 minutes, 14 minutes and 3 minutes. Second game was a blowout obviously. He wouldn't play more than 5 minutes (just enough for Carlisle to realize Game 4 was an anomaly) in Game 5 even if he was available. Not enough to significantly help/hurt the Spurs tbh.

After his play in Game 4, I expect for him to get another good run in Game 6 when he returns.

I also expect for him to try to repeat his Game 4 performance, and am counting on him looking a lot more like the overrated Blair that we saw here for four seasons.

He got 14 minutes in game 2 and was by far the worst defender for the Mavs, tbh..the Spurs literally went at him every play for about 5 consecutive minutes, where Duncan scored on him and drew 2 fouls, Parker drew 2 shooting fouls and scored once, Manu scored once or twice IIRC..

It could have been good if Carlisle let him build off his game 4 effort, tbh..
