What a classless piece of shit. Not only did you kick a player in the face, it was one of your former teammates. You never were really a Spur DeJuan. Glad you left you worthless piece of shit.

Good riddance!

Well I'm not sure we win if he doesn't foul out. Shocked at how soft Spurs looked against that Dallas D. We do remember that Blair flamed out here bc he couldn't play defense.

How can anyone say what his intent was? He kicked with BOTH feet so it wasn't to free his left foot. He was looking pretty much straight ahead so he knew about where splitter was. If I had to guess I'd say he was being a little whiny bitch and didn't think before he had a temper tantrum.

Not thinking is his MO too. Pop should exploit that whenever he's on the court.

It was clearly an accident; nothing classless about it. And he spent all his energy up to that point showing the heart and hustle he always did when he got the opportunity with the Spurs. Shame they had to let him go in favor of Errors tbqh.

Blair played a good game and made a critical stupid play. Sound familiar? Most likely he will be shooting jump shots in the next game cause that is just what he does after a game where he plays well. If he would have stuck to just being a rebounding force he would still be with the Spurs.

Shastafarian

We were about to be up 3-1 in that series until we blew a BIG lead in game 4 at home that lead to Horry's foul, things were going well until that 4th q and the Spurs were controlling that series. That was totally different IMO. We were in control and lost that game 4 to knot it up, but getting Amare Suspended in game 5 (Diaw too?) was definitely not a good thing for the Suns in that series! If Blair is suspended a game it will not be near that, totally different IMO.

I just can't imagine that he would intentionally kick someone in the head. Is it really so unimaginable that he might have accidentally kicked someone while fighting for a loose ball? Shit happens in basketball...try not to overreact so much.

I could be wrong. If it really was intentional, :lol what a dumbass.

It was a dead ball situation. The whistle blew while Tiago was off balance/falling, but before anyone even hit the ground, in other words, before this GIF even started.

You probably shouldn't comment on the intentional/unintentional angle if you didn't see it live in context. It was clearly intentional.

That being said, I think there is no suspension, nor should there be. AFAIC, this issue is closed.

I don't think the kick was pre-meditated but I think he got pissed and acted like a two year old kicking his feet in anger towards Splitter and caught him in the head. Seeing as how Splitter or anyone around him didn't get really pissed I think they knew he didn't do it to intentionally kick Splitter in the head.

The most atrocious part was our bigs letting that 2 bit spare piece of shit actually make plays against them like that. The Spurs aren't playing well at all and that shit needs to stop.

Blair said he was reacting to the call, and kicked Splitter only by accident. It remains to be seen if Blair is in jeopardy of a suspension.

“I don’t think it decided the game,” he said, “but it obviously changed the game.”

Splitter, however, said he thought the kick was intentional after reviewing the incident after the game.

“After watching the video, it looks like it was intentional,” he said. “He has nothing against me. He’s a good kid. I know him. I don’t know why he did it.”

much ado about nothing. he should have been T'd up, but not ejected. that was more of a tap on the head than a kick. you want to see a kick, watch Rodman kicking the photographer years ago. if Blair wanted to kick him, he would have kicked him. ya'll just mad cause he was balling.
