Because it is Westchuck's team and Westchuck is a turtle (or frog) mutant? It makes sens either way since both animals (frog and turtle) are green.

Thunder are a better team without Westbrook.

Never have i heard MJ say that. Despite getting his a$$ handed by the Bad Boys from 1988-1990, his stats were still very good (if not great).

(Pts/Reb/Asst/FG%)
1988 - 27.4/8.8/4.6/49.1%
1989 - 29.7/5.5/6.5/46%
1990 - 32.1/7.1/6.3/46.7%
1991 - 29.8/5.3/7.0/53.5%

You can see that he increased his assist numbers every year and by the 1991 season when Pippen became a 20 ppg player, the Pistons were swept. Despite getting abused throughout those years in the paint and hand checked in the perimeter, Jordan never shot below 45%.

Decoy. The other word you hear is decoy. Michael Jordan uses it about himself.

"I was trying to be a decoy," says the man who is used to doing exactly what he wants.

This was after Game 5 of the '89 ECF when Dad Killer took only 8 shots and was outplayed by Craig Hodges :lol

CN that article was after Game 1, 1990 ECF. MJ did score 34 tbh. They got outrebounded by the Pistons and the bench shat the bed that game. Unlike KD, MJ as a decoy still torched the Pistons.

How much longer until one of these two are sent packing (well, the Grizz have the first opportunity...)? They get beat by Memphis and Brooks will be gone. Does this mean Westchuck is outro?

Regardless, he called himself a decoyPERIOD

Imagine the meltdown if LeBron ever said that :lol

I could see Westbrook bolting this Summer though. He's getting all the heat from analysts, fans and players and i could see a team like Boston or Atlanta trading their PG for him. KD is the one to blame here. He's basically giving the ball right back to Russ daring him to chuck.

I think we're past that tbh. Lebron is in another stratosphere with the way KD is shitting the bed. Man if they actually had the MVP vote after Round 1, he'd be tying MJ.

It's easy to use this as bait to laugh at him but he's right tbh. LeBron does and did make it a big deal to integrate teammates into his offensive strategy in Miami, so it's not really shocking Durant is trying the same. Having a player score 40 points a game doesn't translate into wins, look at Carmelo Anthony for bona fide proof of this.

Consider that the bulk of the Thunder's problems come from Westbrook chucking shots and the coaching. I don't think Durant "not taking over" is a valid excuse to explain why they aren't winning games or titles. The Thunder were/all flawed because they lost Harden and they never really recovered from that. Losing Harden in their offensive system completely changes how they play because now defenders really have to just focus on two scorers rather than three; it's a legitimate problem with their team.

Except against San Antonio where they have Serge Malone Bird Hakeem Ibaka.
