Apology now :lol

From Mike Sherman of The Oklahoman:

We take great pride in our headlines about big sporting events and news in Oklahoma. Thursday’s headline in The Oklahoman on Kevin Durant’s performance in the Memphis series missed the mark.

The words were overstated and unduly harsh. The headline and presentation left the impression that we were commenting on Durant’s season, career or even character. We were not. We were referring only to the Memphis series.

The fact the headline and presentation left that impression with so many readers is proof that we failed.

To be honest, this is going to light a fire under KD's ass now, the chimp shouldn't even attempt to get in his way if he knows what's good for him.

The sonics went through shit to get him, OKC needs to put that into perspective before they go mouthing off again.

Durant ain't gonna stay anyway. He's likey starting to realize he won't be winning there. The Harden trade (or WB max deal signing/Perkins signin if you want the precursors) killed his chances at a title.

What a bunch of ungrateful turds, they trying to get Durant to leave?

The city of Cleveland got down on its collective knees and sucked LeBron's crank for seven years and he left anyway, so what does it matter? If KD is gonna bolt he's gonna bolt no matter how the city and the media treat him, tbh.

If Durant goes to DC that's going to leave Terry Nichols as the most famous Oklahoman tbh.

You can't blame Lebron for leaving a team that kept insisting on making Mo Williams being their 2nd scorer. I think Cleveland had plenty of chances to retain him.

Yeah, he was right to leave. They had the best player on the planet for seven years and couldn't win a title with him. That's on them.

Nothing you could do with the team Ferry put around LeBron.

They lost LeBron before Ferry got there, when they let Boozer walk and then used their last post-203 Lottery pick on Luke Jackson. I'm not saying Ferry did a great job, but the odds were against him from the start.

I can't believe their media would do this. Total bullshit. They should be grateful to even have a team, let alone an elite player, considering all the shady stuff that went down.

Still I don't think the Cleveland 2.0 will happen. the NBA will try their best to hookup OKC before Durant bolts.

I hope Durant comes to San Antonio to help Tim get his 6th ring. That's what most good players should be thinking about... getting Tim his rings, because Tim is class and a good player should understand this is his last chance and they'll never see another Tim Duncan, so Durant should go there and get Tim a ring because Tim deserves it. I hope Tony Parker dies.

And not even a good one in my opinion. As if saying they only meant that he sucks in this particular series is any better than saying he sucks overall. Methheads :lol

Also Beta being a beta male by saying that its what they're supposed to write. What a fucking pussy.
