But still really wonder what he'd do if the worst case scenario was to happen...

He needs to if we lose. His legacy just keeps taking hits. He's given us more than any one player has ever given a franchise.

His hits he is taking are alot better than most near his age in their careers TBH. His legacy is flat out set in stone at this point. I agree though if they lose in round one what does he have to gain by it now? If they lose he might want to call it quits, but me as a fan will want to see him come back again and try it again next year just being greedy. When Tim is gone the Spurs are gone IMO, sucks but true.

agreed. hopefully the fans in the AT&T center are loud as shit and not thinking about a siesta. Spurs fan needs to unnerve Dallas.

Tim's legacy is fine. It's Parker's legacy that's taking hits. Choking in the Finals during his career-best season and now playing like garbage against one of the worst defenses in the playoffs.

Dallas won't be unnerved by San Antonio, most of these guys have seen it all. Pop needs to shut down everyone but Dirk and Ellis, and just let Green and Splitter do their best on those two. If Beli/Errors play more than garbage minutes in a Spurs blowout win, they're fucked and Pop failed his team as a coach and a man.

It's going to have to be done on the court... if you could kidnap Beli early Sunday morning, that would be swell too :lol

He's done so much for this program, it's time Pop and others stop screwing him over. Timmy deserves more rings than he has, and he should have them, but other parts of this organization has cost him that.

This Tbh. I don't see the Spurs losing on Sunday. Not to these fckin scrubs. This series better be a wake up call for the second round...
I just can't believe the fucking MAVRICKS took us to 7 games ...
that pisses me off so much Tbh.

I agree with the troll. Duncan will murder Manu if this happens next year. Better to retire.

Manu is the one needing to worry about his legacy.

Spurs fans at the AT&T Center are weak shit. I have never understood why the home crowds in SA are so damn quiet. Are they just used to winning, and don't get pumped for much? Are they dominated by wealthy Shavano Park and Alamo Heights housewives shouting "woo!" instead of screaming their heads off? Portland, OKC, Dallas, Houston, all have deafening home crowds. The Spurs could use a home environment consisting of fans that will eat opponents alive for every little miss and mistake.

That would be a chump move to retire like that. Tim owes it to the fans and league to give one season notice. It would be incredibly special for Spurs fans to see all the opponents honor him like they did The Admiral.

Duncan is gone if they lose tomorrow,,,,IMO. Popovich delivered the deathblow to his career last year in game 6 and this would just be the icing on the cake.

not sure if TD would retire out of disgust from a first round ext, or if he would go nuts, throw tires all summer, spin platelets in Europe and come back for another shot just outta pure frustration.

Tim is likely playing next year and he will be playing more in these playoffs barring an improbable game tomorrow.

I would like to see Danny Green get more time on Sun and rain 3's on the Mavs to stretch the floor and also try to contain Ellis!
