The site will die tbh. I think that's what mods have in mind. In a way this forum has reached it's shelf life.

The Spurs begin to transition to irrelevance for a period of time, years or decades. The upstairs forum will die, the rest will prosper if the powers that be keep the forum alive. I believe this forum will enter a golden era if the Spurs were to lose, but if they win - there will be more of the same.

In all honesty the Spurs will try to get of Parker to get the highest draft pick available, or multiple players for a team that is desperate to win now. Manu and Duncan will announce next year will be there last year. I will probably try to find some hobby until next years playoffs also.

Losing back to back game 7s would be devastating for the Spurs. I hope it happens. Love to see an always lucky team choke.

What will Dale do if the Rockets and Spurs both lose? I believe he will pass on, happy that Duncan stays at 4 and Howard stays a loser.

yeah, i think it will die. the owners have given up, I think they paid for the year and once that check runs out, case closed. this site will perhaps be a relic like the big 3 era.
just like Spurs need to rebuild, someone should start a new forum that learns from the mistakes of this one.

Always lucky? You don't watch many Spurs games.

Not to mention there's no denying our title victories in the 2000s, we were clearly the best team those years.

Always is the wrong word but 9 times out of 10, things go the Spurs way. Since the Spurs got Duncan, I would say .04, the non foul on the 3 by Barry in the 2008 WCF, and 6 are the only times in which the Spurs weren't lucky. Feeling sorry for the Spurs is like feeling sorry for the Yankees or Patriots.

Mavs/Spurs 2006 as well, don't forget that one. Mavs were slightly better that year though.

Anyway I'll take being a fan of a hated team if it means envious of success. :lol

Okay I can see what you are saying there, agreed on some fronts.

No matter what happens in game 7, I can always sleep at night comfortably knowing that my Mavs won their game 6 at the AAA.

9 times out of the 10, the Spurs get the bounces, the stops, the rolls, the rebounds, the calls, the non-calls, and the shots in the clutch. True story. If you won't admit that, then you aren't a true Spurs fan.
