I told you guys the Lockets are just a paper tiger. Guests are probably the easiest playoff team this year (except Lockets themselves of course) yet they still managed to lose. Shitty franchise just being shitty, imho

At least y'all have a bright future and will get a new coach/missing piece. Spurs could be 8'd and will have nothing to look towards in the future.

You have Chandler Parsons and Terrence Jones. Harden doesn't play defense and Howard is a mental midget who can get big numbers but cannot come through under pressure. You should give Harden/Howard their walking papers, save the cap space and try to get Lebron and Rondo. You'd have a better shot at the title. Some decent big would filter in.

Sorry about the loss... if Rockets learned anything this season it's that paying Patrick Beverly 800 grand a year who plays tough nosed defense >>> paying 12 million dollars for a great offensive player but shitty defense in Harden.

Rockets need to draft or trade a defensive hustle player

Well you were fooling yourself if you thought a team made up of Taliban, Coward, Chandler and Lin were going to amount to anything other than shit.

Coward is a known playoff choker and one of the weakest minded individuals to roam the earths. and harden doesn't play D. When the chinese scrub is your strongest mental asset, you are in a world of shit.

and :lol at asking for another coach. that won't change a thing. The team as composed is flawed.

IMO, .4 and 6 aren't necessarily the same as .9

After the former 2, the Spurs still had a shot to make/win the series. For the Rockets, it was one shot that single handily took them out of the playoffs. They had a good chance of making the finals, to boot.

Eh, if they managed to overthrow Portland their next opponent would be one of San Antonio/Dallas. Next they're in the WCF, and from then on it's really just a matter of who's clicking at the right time.

hell no.

SVG (I think he'd be willing ...), Hollins, Karl, Sloan ... an experienced coach that can crack the whip of discipline into this team pretty much.

6 trumps it

Of course 6 does! But you have to get that far and past the first round to get 6! Unfortunately 6 happened to us........ BUT in the end the Spurs have been to 5 Finals since 99 and won 4 of them, so 6 feels a little better in the end.

It's either Hollins or Gentry. Those two are probably better than half the active coaches right now.

Heck sign them both.

How exactly would Lionel Hollins be any different from McHale?:lol..

SVG and Dwight are pretty close again now, according to both, and Morey loves Stan, but I'm not sure if he would take the job when he could potentially get OKC or Golden State's position instead ..

05-07-2014, 02:09 AM
How exactly would Lionel Hollins be any different from McHale?:lol..

They'd atleast play a lick of defense unlike with McHale. That's why they should sign Gentry also cause Hollins's offense will not get it done in today's NBA.

You're cutting Hollins short cause he couldn't draw plays to save his life in last year's WCF.

Malik Hairston
05-07-2014, 02:16 AM
No, I just think he's the same as McHale, a player's coach..he's not known for his X's and O's, he's known for motivating his players, just like McHale..

I don't know if the Rockets can improve defensively with Harden on the floor, tbh, he's such a negative..
