Besides the New York, New York hotel roller coaster in Vegas I've only ridden coasters in the 3 (now 2) Six Flags in Texas and so far nothing beats the Titan. Despite not having flips or barrel rolls or any of that shit it's been the most intense by far.

Don't remember the name of it, but it was at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH, which is a ridiculous park if you like roller coasters.

X is fucking crazy when it flips you over. Magic Mountain is the only park I have been that's even close to Cedar Point.

Too bad Sandusky itself looks like fucking Watts.

Tatsu at six flags magic mountain is pretty cool. You get on it like you would get on batman, with the seats hanging, but then the seats will all fold back up making you face the ground the entire ride.

tatsue is so hyped and generally isn't fun, its way too slow. it has that cool frontflip though

Cedar Point is on my bucket list. I heard it takes two days to ride all the roller coasters.

As far as overall experience the Titan is first. Mr. Freeze wasn't that long but man that launch is ridiculous.

King's Dominion in Virginia has a few badass coasters. The first drop on The Intimidator makes the Titan look like a kiddie coaster.

Probably just nostalgia but the roller coaster at playland park always stands out in my memories as an awesome ride. Maybe just because I was a kid.

Oh crap...the playland park coaster still exists...

If I'm ever in Pennsylvania I'm going to have to ride it for old times sake.

Yeah, the Busch Gardens there (same park?) had 2 badass ones: Apollos Chariot and Alpengeist. The BG in Tampa had good ones too, with Montu, Kumba, etc

Seriously, Viper over X, Tatsu, and Goliath??? What's the one at Magic Mountain that keeps hitting you in the balls the whole ride? Some shitty Batman theme ride or something. That one has to be the shittiest roller coaster I have been on.

LoL yeah it's the batman ride, the first or one of the first roller coasters that the rails are above you. Viper is the head/neck breaker and batman is the ball breaker.
.
Did anyone go on the rattler when they first built it? Holy shit, I think they(fiesta texas) had to lower it 2-3 stories.

Rattler was amazing that first month. They dropped the big bump before the drop 2 or 3 months later and then a year or two later that raised the track at the bottom of the drop and made Fiesta Texas a completely worthless park. But damn you'd feel that drop in your stomach before they tamed it. Just leveling off that first mini drop before the big one took a lot of speed out of it.

The Pike in Long Beach had "The Worlds Largest Rolling Coaster' or so it was advertised. I really don't know but it was immense and real old and sounded like it. You realy did get tye feel that at anytime it was going to fall apart, that added to the fright and it very very frightening. I onl;y had balls for one ride, and I'm not the only one. Obviously there was also the ghost story because a couple people had died on the ride, not sure what happened.

there is no more roller coaster there. Maybe that was the reason?

Cedar Point is on my bucket list. I heard it takes two days to ride all the roller coasters.

Depends on the day. Usually a week day later in the summer is the best time to go. Go early stay late, especially if you are an out of stater.

Weekends suck for availabilty to get on rides quickly.

I rode Wonder Woman at Fiesta Texas a few weeks back. Jesus Christ was that painful (literally). The shoulder restraints were not designed for anybody over average height (about 5' 3" in SA). I left the ride with a serious back ache.

I'm getting tired of these modern rollar coasters anyway. How many loops/twists/inversions can you squeeze into a 45 second ride? Give me the old behemoth wooden coasters any day. Or even the Titan at Six Flags over Texas. It's just a gigantic metal coaster with no loops or anything.
