You're going to get three types of reactions.
1. "FUCK THIS, TIME FOR A REBUILD. ENRIQUE/TURNOBILI (depending on the user) RUINED TIM'S LAST SEASON."
2. "Doesn't compare to 6 :cry:cry:cry:cry"
3. "All of you are spoiled, *inserts big rant about how amazing the Spurs are*"
I'm probably missing a couple of others, these are just the first three off the top of my head.

This. If anybody thinks losing in a game 7 against the 8th seeded Mavs (really would be a top 3-4 seed in the East) is anything as bad as 6. was... No. It'll be bad and a lot of "fire Pop" and trade threads, but we'll still be SpursTalk.
It'll be on par with how things were after game 7 against the Mavs in 2006, I think.

We are all expecting it, losing this series... Dreading it. I don't imagine it will approach what we saw after Game 3 or Game 6.

I'll be pissed but it's just a basketball game. I have bigger things to worry about.
I wont even show up here until next season because of the epic meltdown that will occur if we lose.
Having said that, Im sure the Spurs will pull it out tomorrow.

No biggie last year was the girl that broke my heart so nothing can happen worse then last year. Though in all honesty I don't see us loosing to the Mavs if we come out to win instead of playing not to loose. Either way I don't see us or Dallas having a chance with Portland unless a major injury happens to one of their starters.
So either way we need to convince Timmy to stay and get him some help..so goodbye Bonner, CoJo, Mills, Benelli, Green, Errors. RC needs to work out some trade and start willing and dealing get us a better second round pick and bring over Hanga and Bertrans.

people are already planning about bringing bertans over in the off season when we have a huge game 7 ahead of us in 12 hrs or so. so you KNOW if spurs lose it will be full dome meldownz.

It will be a blessing in disguise to lose that game, for it will save you from being destroyed by the Blazers in the ensuing round. You can say you played a hard fought series and Dallas was just a tough matchup. If you lose to the Blazers, you have no excuse because they don't play a lick of defense.
Either way, I'm always here for you.
Till the end..

I think it will be less of a meltdown and more of a barren wasteland, with only the trolls around, looking for anything to leech off of.
Hopefully it doesn't happen and I don't think Spurs lose game 7.

This, many people will go into hiding because they fell for the regular season record again.
Hard to say and really depends on the way they would lose. Ill try to appropriately compare to past forum wide extinction level events.
Situation 1... a blowout loss.
Meltdown magnitude: 2011 with a touch of 2009 George Hill.
Door number 2... Close loss and spurs never/rarely grabbing a big lead.
MM: 2012 OKC with a sprinkle of Finley starting and guarding LeBron isos 1 on 1.
3... Mavericks come from behind to win.
MM: 2008 Game 1 with a bit of Bonner starting.
4...last second shot wins it for the Mavs
MM: San Antonio never gets marquee free agents combined with equal helpings of 4yrs, 40million and Centerpiece
5... last second loss because of a perceived no call
MM: 2008 Joey crawford
Last second loss with a perceived delay when starting the clock...
MM: 0.4 minus the projectile vomiting, insomnia, and prescription drug abuse.

This being a spurs fan might be the toughest in sports tbh. Being repeadilty kicked in the nuts year after year u eventually stop caring. Ever since the spurs drafted Tim they have been title contenders and each year they find a way to disappoint except for 99,03,05,07
