We'll soon find out just how cool or uncool these guys are when they start the contract process. This part of it has always astounded me. A young kid who gets a chance to play pro football and stay out of a real job all worried over $$$$$$$$$$$$.

My old high school, Mt.Whitney in Visalia Cali has been around for over 100 years, the school has had three pro football (all off the same team) players, Lupe Sanchez, Michael Young and Don Mosebar (his mom is like 6-4. his dad around 6-6). How many pro players from your old high school?

So which one will be the more ridiculously greedy?

There might have been somebody else make the pros out of Mt Whitney HS, I don't know who.

You should have seen him play in high school, it was ridiculous. As you know he was huge, well he was also huge at that level. Never was...a man among boys...more appropriate.

He was also a real stud at USC. But.....you don't take him before Dan Marino.

Explain your betting record then :lol

Tuesdays ya look at the line. Then start trying to find the best 3 plays for the week. You look for what role the teams are in and how well they play vs the number in that role. Remember...

home fav
home dog
road fav
road dog

....then ya look for what "spot" these teams are in. Stuff like coming off a bye, heading into a bye, back to back at home/on the road, after a big division game.

It will take a few days of eliminating plays to get down to the best three. Teams with a multitude of reasons to play them.

Friday morning ya DVR The Herd, there you will find out what the Vegas wise guys think about five games. You are looking for agreement.

That's how I do it. I'll hit between 64-68% every year. Marc Lawrence's PLAYBOOK a must, there we find every stat/trend there is.

Too many dumb ass kids here like you to give out real plays for free.

Dude, look at the impact that silliness made, here you are STILL talking about it, why? It's because you know I do know all this shit about the players, teams and the game and it bothers you because you don't know shit.

"a real job"

playing professional sports IS a real job. it's like being in a traveling circus. workouts, team rules, etc., keep them from having fun or enjoying themselves. they're expected to act professional at all times too. then when they get out in 10 years, they have no job training to do anything else, so hopefully they've saved up and made quality investments or else...well you've seen what has happened to retired ball players...

First off how many jobs can you haggle over a contract? How many jobs can you retire having done far less than 20 years making the pension they make? How many jobs can you have where you also get endorsement deals?

Compare pro football to having a manufacturing job where you are only there because they haven't came up with the machine to replace you....yet. Jobs where you are on your feet on hard surfaces for 8 hours a day.

Working night's, the swing shift....ouch!

Obviously you know nothing about the military. An NFL player makes a tad bit more $$$$$$$ than a marine, hahahaha!!!!!

Who can haggle anything in the military?

Dude are you really dumb enought to think there were really 12 year old girls in those bars? Come on man don't look totally ignorant, ok? And I have relatives in todays military, ok? And no they don't make a fraction of what NFLers make.

Cat comes out of boot camp is a lot different than a cat coming out of Ohio State in the draft, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

I guess Avante doesn't think getting paid for a service while potentially dying in the field is a real job. That must also be his view on the military too.
