Just as a recent example of the league skirting the rules, look at how they fined Sterling. Under the specific rule Sterling broke, the most he could be fined was a mil. I've got no problem with Durant, however when someone calls him a "good guy" and you know there's no fucking way they could actually know that, then it has to be taken with a grain of salt.
