9am – 11am The Tony Bruno Show - Tony Bruno has been called “possibly the best sports talk show host in America” by the Los Angeles Times. Tony launched both the ESPN Radio Network in 1992 from Bristol, Connecticut and eight years later launched FOX Sports Radio in Los Angeles. Tony has covered dozens of Super Bowls, World Series, Olympics all over the world, and every sporting event of consequence from the Kentucky Derby to hockey to auto racing. In 2004, Bruno was the only on-air personality to be named in the “101 Best Things in LA” in Los Angeles Magazine's “Best of 2004” issue.

The only thing that sucks is that KGNB seems to get the range of somebody broadcasting in a tin hut with two cans, some string and a pair of rabbit ears.

I myself am working on a device to pick up the station:

Using an the old huge satellite dishes that someone is using as a planter, some used wired from numerous broken headsets, freshly chewed bubble gum and a commordore 64 computer.

then connect it to an old drive in speaker I found in the shed with a bunch of old junk.

I'm of the opinion that I should be able to pick it up clearly from less than 15 miles away (San Marcos).

Nice one. Always enjoyed him on The Extravaganza, especially his convos with Pat O. Way better than Van Earl Wright.

I met Tony and Andrew last year when they came for the Final Four, they were pretty nice and its good to see hes going to be national again I just wish KTKR would have the balls to get rid of our horrible local programming and put this man back on the air.

I get it relatively clearly here in the sticks north of Floresville.

Woohoo TB!

I got XM Satellite Radio, which carries the Sporting News on there crystal clear. I honestly didn't even know there was a local SNR affiliate here. :wtf

Tuned in on XM when it came on at 8AM....the show is great and I love it...I don't get the local Sporting News affiliate at all in the sticks where i am and I think Bruno used to be locally only in L.A.
but the show is great and I like it.

What's actually on "The TIcket" now?

Is it the local guys?
I heard Fox Sports Radio has fired Van HURL Wright and replaced him with David Stein. now its Stein and that little rodent faced Weasel Andrew and that brush Krystal on the extravaganza.

someone mentioned that the Ticket brought back the FSR Extravaganza again?

thats what sucks about some of the Sporting News Radio affiliates...they're unknown or they have weak signals. I didn't have a clue that there was one here in S.A. (the one they're mentioning here)
