The Clippers have the "We Are One" campaign and the Thunder have the Kevin Durant "You are the real MVP ;_;" circlejerk fest. Do the Spurs need that sob story to get the country behind them and more importantly the officiating behind them or can they win without it?
spurs could all be dying of cancer and the media would still care less. i'd rather be the team that still pisses everyone off for still being there.

Be the Underdogs, TBH. This team thrives when it's looked over, when the are written off. This team's ceiling is higher than last year's, and I am more than confident about that. It's all about doing what we are capable of doing for 11 more times.

:LMAO :LMAO :LMAO :LMAO
Pop is an SOB, but he's not sympathetic. For real though, the truth is that it doesn't matter.. since Lebron is going to walk away with the title.

Yes. It's called "One Last Shot", or "6", or "A Dying Dynasty", or any other 100 names.

I thought the Spurs sob story was the last run for Duncan, Ginobili and Parker?

The Spurs are a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie just waiting to happen. Tim Duncan, a struggling single parent. Tony Parker, lifelong womanizer learning the true meanin of life as he begins raising a child (at least until he cheats on his baby momma). Patty Mills, overcoming racism to win over a the narrow minds of team mates who have only ever played with white guys from Australia. And RC turning the community service project he was assigned after his DUI from a ragtag bunch of misfits into a true team.

TD should give a tearful speech over what it's like to be cucked and then thank TP for giving him the perspective needed to come to grips with it.

Added bonus: Emilio Estevez should be old enough by now to play RC in the movie!

Screw this emo shit. Spurs need to go back to the good old days when they were feared. Remember when they were greeted by the Star Wars Imperial March, if I remember correctly, by the Cavs announcers?

They already have one: The past 3 years when we got the #1-2 seed and didn't win the title. Heartbreaking exits every time. Now we're on year 4 in a row. If any team deserves a title this year it's the Spurs. Least deserving is the Heat.
