When discussing Kirby getting food poisoning in the 2002 series with the Kings -

Horry: We weren’t worried. If Shaq would have went down, that would have been an issue. We felt that with Kobe out, no disrespect to Kobe, but we could fill in with B-Shaw [Brian Shaw] and Rick and all the other guys.

You mean to say that Shaq might've been the best player on that team? Has this ever been discussed on this forum before?

tbh I feel like I'm free falling down the rabbit hole right now.

I want off this wild ride :cry

You know, it's not Fisher's shot with 0.4 seconds that made that Game 5 loss so bitter in 04. It was allowing Devean George to score 16.

I don't even remember that he scored 16 points :lmao

Devean "Hippo nose" George was the designated shooter that year and he was put in as starting small forward in the Fab 4 team. He did a pretty decent job imo and then he just fell off a cliff after that.

In those years, Shaquille was so dominant he could have won a titles with a roster of 14 rookies.

Why people think Bryant is so good is really beyond me. He was just lucky enough to be on Shaquille's team. So was Fox. So was Fisher. So was B. Shaw. Bryant is no different.

Scrubs like Robinson, Parker, Bowen, Elliott, and Ginobili were just lucky to be Jim Cuckan's teammates. He would have won four rings and wouldn't get cucked by Stephen Jackson if he had 14 Speedy Claxtons all along.

Ginobili also did not bail out 10-27 Cuckan in the 2005 NBA Finals.

Just sour grapes from a nigga that Kobe ran out of town. Nothing to see here. Nick, Horry, Phil, Snaq, Smush, Kwame, Bynum... they all have shit to say about the nigga that ran them out of town, but they ate good with The Black Mamba. They made more money and won more rings with The Black Mamba. Ungrateful niggas.

Lately, I have gotten my girlfriend to watch a TV series that I have been watching for a year now, and she really likes it. Tonight she told me that she has a crush on a character on that TV show and told me that it was my fault. She was joking around, but she began to say other things. She said she like that he is strong but a sensitive person, and she said that she wanted to hug him. Even though she was telling me this in a joyful mood, I stayed serious. I have not had any crushes on anyone or anything after dating her. All I want is her and I only want hugs from her. I do not understand why she would even think about being in another guy's arms. Where am I when this is going on in her head? I just believe that crushes are for little girls and even boys who are naive to loving relationships. My problem is that I guess I am a little jealous of her crush because she wanted to hug him. If it was just a crush where she admired his character, I would not have a problem. But there is physical desire for this person, and I am not even thought about. Me and my girlfriend love each other so much and plan to make this more than just a relationship, but why should she have crushes on anyone else besides me? How should I feel about this? Am I over-reacting? And what should I do?

By missing that layup so Rob could save the season from just outside the top of the key?

That was an unlucky miss by God but if it wasn't for that miss Rob doesn't get that shot. Rob was a great clutch shooter but he could never create his own shot like God could. Rob had to be wide open to hit a shot hence that is why he was a role player and not a star. Have you ever seen Rob hit a game winner with someone in his face I haven't but God has always hit game winners with guys in his face.

Shaq was the Lakers best player; but Kirby needed to be on the floor to get all those ghost fouls and make all those freebies. It would have been simply too easy to game plan against a Kobe-less Lakers who had no other penetrators.
